    Have been doing that but couldn't find Asik's name on the roster yet. It could just be an update issue. It was reported earlier that he would join the team on August 1 (or2?). Ersan Ilyasova just passed the physical and I think would join soon.

    The Turkish National Team just started the prep tournament in Serbia and lost the first game.

    Asik hasnt played yet, I watched a few games since the recent tournament was in my hometown and didnt see him with the team

    Did the Turkish national team (without Asik) really lose all three prep tournament games?
    August 2 Friday - Turkey : Serbia (63:78)
    August 3 Saturday - Turkey : Latvia (61:66)
    August 4 Sunday - Turkey : Slovenia (53:72)

    Also, it looks like there was some sort of fight between the two teams (Turkey vs Slovenia) upon Turkish Dogus Balbay's personal foul on Drajic on Sunday?

    Balbay is playing for Turkey? He was an average at best Division 1 point guard at the University of Texas. Can't shoot worth a lick either.

    I do not see Turkey as one of the stronger teams, The four teams playing that made the round of eight in last years Olympics are Russia, Lithuania, Spain and Portugal (????) I am not sure about Portugal. Turkey did not make it.

    Portugal did not make it either :D It was Spain, Russia, France & Lithuania from Europe.

    He may shoot bad % today because works extra at weight room due lbs gain. Today I hope to see other side of the game - defensive. Hope he improved that.
