meh. They're whatever. Combos are all the rage these days, so if this attracts more recruits, let them go crazy.

Ready for the season. We better come out focused this year. Need another 10 win season. The talent is there just need consistency from the QB position.

    10 win season!?

I'd settle for 7-5 or 8-4. Sadly, that's even unlikely. (Of course I could be wrong.)

I don't have any real faith in the coaching staff. With a new stadium next year, maybe a new coach too?

Have to agree, I just have a gut level feeling that Levine is way over his head. Nice guy, but I don't thing he is the one to take the program to the next level. The Korn kid from Florida should be the starting QB. He is one of the most talented prospects I have seen in years.

Unless it was about Leigh Steinberg paying for the answers to their SATs and hush money to the color guard, this really doesn't make any sense.

I'm just impressed the UH recruits were able to navigate the internet and use twitter.

Kind of like when the rest of us are shocked when Rice finds a recruit that can actually play football.

I just discovered that the Coogs are now in a conference called the American Football Conference. College football is so screwed up.

What happened to UH's QB from last season? The kid from South Lake Carroll. He is not mentioned in the current QB competition in the Houston Chronicle articles. Can remember his name.

David Piland? He was our starting QB last season and didnt do too good. I am hoping he turns it around this season are we will be starting the John O'Korn era!

Piland was mentioned. Appears it's down to him, Greg Ward and John O'Korn.

Yeah, it was Piland. I was surprised he wasn't mentioned. I wonder if he left. The O'Korn guy is unbelievable. Have you seen any of his HS video? Whoa.

Piland is still on the team as far as I know. He was benched the last two games of the season last year. Came in for one play after Crawford Jones helmet came off the last game of the season then went back to the bench.

Yep. Our best qb recruit we have had since we signed Terrence Broadway. (wish Sumlin started him instead of Piland, Broadway is doing good at ULL). :(

I still think O'Korn gets redshirted and Piland goes into the season as starter.
