[790] Matt and Adam let go by 790?

Sure, but it's still a lot better then in the trenches.

 

They usually fire personalities immediately after a show so they can't hijack the show and say negative things or stuff that will get the radio station in trouble. So they would never tell a host they are getting fired and then let them on air

 

I love In the Trenches. I think those guys are hilarious.

 

I enjoy it too. True, it's hard to talk football in June and July so I think they need to expand their reach a little, but it will be fun to listen to them during football season

I miss the glory days of 610. john&lance in the mornings, mark&rich in the afternoons, and then matt&adam at night. that was the dream line up

I really can't stand josh innes or matt thomas. neutral on charlie. only person I like on 610 now is mike meltser

 

This sucks. They were the only radio hosts that actually liked talking about the Rockets and had extensive NBA knowledge. This blows. I guess I'll go back to rocking my MP3 and get my sports news exclusively from CF.net

I do enjoy listening to MAD radio honestly...that's the only show I really listen to on 610

 

This probably makes me stop caring about local sports radio totally. I don't really care enough about football to follow it constantly beyond the important months(actual season, draft, FA signings). And the important part of following the Astros these days, which are the prospects, is something you'll never actually hear about.

So it comes down to the Rockets, and really only Matt and Adam talk about them. They actually have inside info and pertinent opinions. Everyone else either don't know enough about the Rockets, or don't care. This definitely means less selection for my podcast list.

 

Maybe this opens up a niche for Clutch or the Big Show Team. I could see a weekly (or even daily during the season) Rockets Report Podcast.

I'd subscribe.

I listened this morning...I thought they sounded great. Good approach generally.

 

Liking it so far.

Just waiting on Jackson to take Innes' place and Wexler to get hired back onto 790 to cover the Rockets games.
