hmm if he stomped on the guy and he was a just a poor helpless homeless dude then Jones is a douche and needs to be cut.. but if the guy was a sex offender then Jones is a hero and I wish he stomped on his nuts instead

By that logic, why would you quote the prosecution?

He was clearly singing Chop Suey by System of a Down before tripping over the homeless man. Happens all the time.

Maybe Jones has a history with Mr. Homeless Dude and it got a little personal.

Isn't sleeping on a sidewalk illegal?

And don't cops say "Wake up" and nudge you in the side with their billy clubs if you do. Or is it "club you in the side with their billy clubs."

It doesn't matter anymore. The internet moral police have already convicted T Jones.

If he "stomped" on him, wouldn't the homeless guy be more injured?

T Jones should just come forth and apologize for being drunk a bit and accidentally tripped on the guy. They ended up tangling with each other and Jones trying to shake lose the tangle with a 'stomping like' motion of his feet and told the homeless guy to wake up. This might be the more logical explanation because there is no obvious injury from a 250 lber stomping on the guy. He should apologize to the guy and ask people to forgive him for bad judgement (getting drunk a bit).

You're twisted brah. What you need to realize is that your opinion of sex offenders and random acts of violence is two separate things. Get a grip.

The prosecutor and the defense attorney are the two people you can bet on being totally biased. It's their job to be biased. One is to do everything he can to make the accuse look guilty. The other is to do everything he can to make the accused look innocent.

Their public words are pretty much worthless if you want to get an objective assessment of the situation.

This is actually a great opportunity for the Rockets organization. First, you publicly apologize to the individual for the "unfortunate" incident. You say that the Rockets organization supports all members of the community, especially those less fortunate. You fly the guy into Houston, put him up at the Four Seasons, and give him a front-row ticket to a selected game. You have TJones and him meet, you make sure TJones apologizes for his actions, and there you go. The Rockets becomes the organization that "cares." That becomes the story rather than TJones. Then, the Rockets also make a donation to a local Portland shelter on behalf of the guy.
