Maybe we can send him down to the ADL (Arrested Developmental League).

I think all opinions formed on this preliminary report are preemptive. The concrete details are that he yelled "wake up" and that he harassed a homeless man. I think the term "stomp" leads when to believe that intent to harm was present. If this were the case, I believe a man of Jones' size would have caused injury, at the least. I agree that it doesn't add up and a poor wording may have this looking worse than reality, and will wait to hear the account from Jones or someone else involved; even the officer.

Probably just stepped on his leg to wake him up. And he was probably waking him up just to be a dick.

I wanna hear his side of the story first. I'm not cool with stomping on people as a general rule, though.

Maybe the homeless guy got a kick out of it and holds no ill-will toward Jones.

pretty much my best guess. it does not deserve hell-fire and brimstone, but it certainly reflects poorly on his character.

I actually think he has better handles than Parsons.

Just because he stomped on somebody does not mean he should be traded. Thats a bit of a reach.
Regardless of this incident I still hope he starts at 4.

Is the stompee white? (Not Royce). Could be a hate crime thing. Just channeling his inner Jailblazer.

Yes, he's white but let's not get int the race card thing. I don't think it's a hate crime!

What's your agenda/personal connection? Were you homeless at some point in your life? Family member/friend homeless?

Yeah okay Bill Clinton, it depends on what the definition of "is" is.

If you're going to split hairs stomp means he treaded heavily on the guy. It doesn't have anything to do with intending to cause injury. When you stomp your feet at a pep rally are you trying to hurt someone?

This guy is an ass. I just want to know what in his upbringing or character planted that drunken impulse that it's okay to pick on someone just because he's weaker than you are. I mean it's not even a bum fight. He literally had to pick on a homeless guy who was sleeping.

I'm disappointed though. Are we even trying clutchfans? No speculation that he was just trying to wake up the guy to give him a dollar and accidentally stepped on him? He wasn't yelling, he was just speaking loudly because he thought the guy might be hard of hearing.

    or

Terrence didn't realize the guy was sleeping he thought he was having a heart attack. He yelled "wake up" because he didn't want the guy to die on him and he was trying to do CPR with his foot and accidentally missed his chest.

Get behind your boy clutchfans, we don't know the entire story...

Since TJones obviously smashed this man's leg into the pavement (after all, a cop saw it, and God knows a cop would never come up with a trumped up charge against a group of young men outside a bar at 2am, right?), then why isn't he pressing any charges? He must be afraid that TJones would hunt him down and stomp the rest of him to dust if he pursued legal action. Poor guy.

Maybe I'm naive, but I doubt this affects his playing time. Stupid, low-class thing to do? Yes. Young and wasted-after-the-club thing to do? Yes. I've never stepped on a homeless person's leg, but I did some pretty stupid ish while drunk in my early 20s that I wouldn't want broadcasted today. You live and learn (i.e., grow up).

What are you talking about dude? I go to church and the pastor says all the time to stomp out the homeless.

I think we can all agree that they did a great job with TJ. I'm with you, anyone who says otherwise is just trolling. You might be responding to another poster?

He needs to channel all that aggressive and negative energy on the court.

Go ahead, stomp on Chris Paul's legs next time he flops against us. Or Fisher, or Battier....

I will be rooting for him then.

    A homeless man, OTOH....oh cmon....

Huh? If I had a kid who was arrested for stomping on a sleeping homeless man, then I'd admit that I failed as a parent....
