The database link to Daniel John Kellerher's arrest record was posted below. There are two counts of parole violations, two counts of heroin possession, and one count of registered sex offense...

you're right ...he did not beat the guy. he just woke them up and stomped on their legs. oh and btw...it's still a degenerate thing to do and shows poor character:

According to a police spokesman, Sgt. Anthony Passadore observed Jones shortly after 2 a.m. walk past two men sleeping in a doorway, shout “wake up” and stomp on one of the men’s legs. Jones was with a group of about eight people when he was stopped and taken into custody about a half a block from the incident.

    You should have continued reading....

Rockets’ Jones pleads not guilty to misdemeanor harassment

    ....

The victim, Daniel John Kellerher, 46, did not require medical attention. He is uninjured and is not pressing charges.

"Stomped" by a 250 lb man, but uninjured and doesn't want to press charges....makes sense. I think I'll just continue to only look at headlines.

or you could take the cop's word for it who was the eye-witness. either way, i don't have to like a guy who thinks it's fun to harass homeless people.

    Thanks :p

And yeah we will see what comes out. Maybe T Jones is a bum stomping *******. Maybe he mouthed off to the cop and the cop wanted to charge him with something. Maybe he tried to stomp the bum and missed. Maybe the bum was just sleeping in the middle of the sidewalk and T Jones was trying to wake him up to get him out of the way.

    Wait and see...

You are not making sense. Everyone has read the article, he got arrested for STOMPING on a SLEEPING homeless guy.

That - is what we are referencing, the fact that he even thought it was ok to stomp on another defenseless human being is what is so bothersome to a lot of us.

You can hate homeless people and be drunk and decide NOT to stomp on them - that is 100% a classless move.

That is all I care about - is that he thought it ok to stomp on someone sleeping....nothing more.

Finally, something to talk about besides Lin. I'm blown away that this has reached 39 pages.

Ok so you recognize that you were outraged about an assault that didn't happen, right?

i'm just saying that harassing homeless people is a pretty degenerate thing to do. He did that at the very least. The cop says he screamed, "wake-up!" and stomped on the guy's legs. You have the right to call the cop a liar (although i don't know why you would assume the cop eye-witness is lying). You are assuming he did nothing wrong. Innocent until proven guilty. Fair. But it's clear to me that he was messing with a sleeping homeless man in some fashion and that shows poor character. Just my opinion.

    100% agree.

Classless act at the very least end of the spectrum.

If he "stomped" him he would have been charged with a much greater crime than harassment. I'm bored so I'll just keep repeating the same thing over and over.

We don't know what happened. The cop could have simply been mistaken. Who knows...but in my eyes things don't make sense based on everything we've seen. A police report would be nice. Stomping sounds pretty horrendous, but then we see there was no injury. How does a well muscled 250 pound man stomp someone, not injure them at all, and only get charged with harassment?

BTW I'm not assuming Jones acted like a saint either on this evening...I just don't like when things don't add up.

You don't know that - and you are basing it on your own definition of stomp.

At the very least, the dude was a classless buffoon.

I bet if Tjones was white, we would have never heard about this.

In all seriousness, all you moral crusaders need to calm down and stop acting like you've never done dumb stuff in your life.
