Canaan was back in Murray this week to stop by the Steve Prohm Basketball Camp at Murray State. Nice little article and kind of funny the mention of all the kids wearing Canaan Rockets jerseys and he doesn't even have his own yet. Says he's improved his explosion and quickness since the end of the season last year and is "faster and healthier than ever".

ICE comes across as a good kid. I hope he proves to be the steal of the 2013 Draft!

Nice article, much better than reading about TJ stomping on homeless people.

It wasn't people. It was person. And he sez he didn't do it. I, of course, believe him.

I, of course, assume this fouls the air for 'my' AO/TJ - - LMA deal.

I, of course, assume TJ will prove DM the assistant GM was right in drafting him and getting him onto TheToyShop hardwood.

For a second, I thought you were just spelling Morey's name wrong.

This kid is becoming one of my favorites and he hasn't even stepped foot on the TC floor yet.

He seeks out contact in the paint a la a young K-Low, and hit from deep at a 42% clip over his 4-year career @ Murray, where he was a 2X conference POTY. Oh, and he's an 80%-plus shooter from the charity stripe.

I truly believe he was the steal of the '13 draft. Slipping to the 2nd only added fuel to his fire. He's built for McHale's system, and his shot will make him a weapon alongside Dwight and Harden. I see a rich man's Jameer Nelson.

...who is a rich man (thanks, in part, to D12).

Seems like Aaron Brooks 2.0. Similar style of game.

Man, I don't know if I can forgive him that Lebron shirt....
But seriously though, that there is a nice stroke. Repeatable, smooth, quick. I hope he focuses on honing that down and working on his defense. Hopefully he'll get called up soon and show us what that shooting is all about. Just have to say though, I personally don't like players with bad D, so we shall have to see. Rooting for the kid though.

True, he's more physical than AB, though.
