Perhaps this homeless gentleman's leg was on fire. Terrence Jones was attempting to put out the fire by stomping on it while yelling at the man to wake up for his own safety.

A+++ Terrence. Way to be an upstanding citizen and good Samaritan.

Yea.. since he's a seasoned veteran who's been on the team for a long time right?

Dude's barely been in Houston a year. Quit trying to justify his actions.

Could have just been a nudge and overblown by the cop , probably just was trying to be funny and it back fired . I'm not excusing the behavior but c'mon , if a 6'9 250 guy actually "stomped" on this homeless guy's leg it would have been a significant injury. It's not like this cop would have been the first one to over react to something .

You have obviously never heard of the phrase "Nothing good ever happens to you at two o'clock in the morning". Yes, Terrence did not do anything illegal in the head-on collision while he was at Kentucky. I am not arguing that it should count as a "strike" against Jones, but merely showing that people could view it that way.

and who are you to say we shouldnt judge? especially a guy who just got arrested for stomping a homeless person.

yea you're on that celebrity worship captain save an athlete trip and tried to invoke religion as if you have moral superiority.

you dont you self righteous j*zz mop.

your opinions can be classified as judgements.

then you should go post in a terrence jones basketball related thread or make one.

this is about him getting arrested for stomping a homeless person.

Let's here his side of the story first before continuing. It could be baddy cops overreacting. God knows it's not the first time it has happened.

What part of stomping a homeless guy is funny whether it's a nudge or actual stomp?

If he didn't do what the cop is claiming, they his reputation is getting screwed for no reason. I would be upset also. I find it hard to believe that a 250 pound athlete could purposely stomp on someone's leg and they not require any medical attention at all.

I could believe the following scenario.

Terrance Jones has a few drinks and gets tipsy. Walks down the street with a bunch of his friends, trips over some homeless person. Saying something like wake-up or watch out because he is buzzed. Some cop being a jerk arresting him because that is what cops do and he's a big black dude in Portland. Portland is not very diverse and is around 76 percent white and only 6 percent black.

I'm not saying this is what happened, but I find easier to believe than someone with a group of his friends walking down the street and purposely stomping on some sleeping homeless person's leg.
