Looks like just as many blacks and hispanics causing trouble as whites , what's the point in posting this here ?
Not relevant to the case but very relevant to the thread where people seem to assume that 'black culture' is violent. Someone bought up a case earlier in this thread where a black man shot a white baby and no one seemed to care that it wasn't relevant at all to the Trayvon Martin case.
I think the point of that being brought up, and others like it, is that it is not even on the radar for people. The relevance is in the treatment of the crime by the media and the media whores not so much on the crime itself.
Zimmerman is in southern Oklahoma. He was pulled over somewhere in North Texas / south Oklahoma for speeding...he was armed. Minorities evacuate now!
He' clearly trying to make up for his mistake by traveling across the U.S., helping families in need.
Anyone else get an e-mail from Tracy Martin and Sabrina Fulton asking them to sign a change.org Petition?
Nope, I don't receive any emails from change.org, but as a lifetime NRA member I do get updates about how they are trying to repeal stand your ground laws across the nation. By the way how is the NAACP human rights case going for them vs Z MAN?
We are on the same side then. I think they have shown a huge lack of accountability regarding their son's actions that night.
The way they raised their son and his troubling behavior... not saying they should go to jail or anything. Same thing with the 16 YO Cervini kid that was killed in NY. To listen to his family, he was a sweet, untroubled youth. But he had a record of trouble (as did the kids he was with) and was actually breaking into cars in the minutes before he was killed.
They are completely dismissing the fact that their son decided to attack someone and it played a huge part in his death. No one chased their son as they claim and no one stalked him. That's nothing but inflammatory rhetoric that has led to some incidents of violence. That petition used bull**** statements like TM was just trying to get back home to his Dad. His Dad wasn't home for him to get to and that's part of the problem. This kid was out of control. His Mom got tired of his reckless behavior and shipped him off to an Uncle in Miami. After that via a bus to his Dad. They apparently didn't monitor any of his online / phone activities since TM was talking about guns, drugs and in possession of under aged nudie photos. So you can excuse me if I don't think this set of parents should be spokespersons for any other parent.
I just think it's hard to blame the parents at that point for much. You really don't know how they raised their son, how they disciplined him, etc. Yeah Trayvon made some mistakes but so does every teenager, we sit here and act like they were raising a murderer and there's no indication of that. He was teenager, prone to make mistakes and old enough where parents lose grip on their kids. Also if any of you monitor kids online activities...most kid you'll be surprised that they are talking about things they shouldn't be talking about. That's not a big surprise there. Also underaged nudie photos just proves your trying to slander the guy. Were they pictures of 5 year old girls or girls around his age since Trayvon himself was underaged? You guys saying that no one in high-school never saw a naked woman who was also in high-school?...they always say "Underaged" but never say how old...were these pictures of kids or teens?
so Trayvon was in possession of "underage nudie photos"? that's the narrative now? otherwise known as a selfie or sexting between two consenting teenagers? pardon me for not following the case as directly as some, I hadn't heard that gem until today. I had to google it. here was the ever back pedaling Michelle Malkin's (of twitchy.com) angle: http://twitchy.com/2013/06/06/did-trayvon-martins-cell-phone-contain-nude-photos-of-underage-girls/ how could they keep that from us, this changes everything!
Wow... that is just sad that they are making a claim like that. I guess I was guilty of this too at 17.
For some people the point of the whole case was to try and make the unarmed teen who was shot dead look like as bad of a person as possible.
It's funny how at first they say 'Teenage' and then settle for the word 'underage'. You see if you say teenager most people will go "Yeah?! So what? I know many people that had sex in highschool." after all they teach sex in schools for this reason. Knowing that hormones go crazy and curiosity about it is at it's height, so might as well teach them to be safe if they are going to do it. If you say 'Underage' well then now someone can assume that Martin had pictures of 8 year old girls on his phone.
Another TM supporter trying to take 1 thing and take the conversation down the rat hole. I gave you a series of things and you picked out one. TM was in to fighting, theft, guns and drugs too, you find one thing out of those to hone in on. If you have a son and you find a photo of an underage girl on their phone and you are ok with it, you are a terrible parent. That photo could be getting passed around all over the internet.
