Dude.... he stomped another human being that he did not know. That is a pretty ****ty thing to do. Unless there is more to the story, Jones is a scum bag.

Being religious doesn't make someone a good person, likewise being atheist doesn't make someone a bad person.
So you wouldn't be surprised at all if he was atheist?

Calling for trade or release seems extreme. Didnt Dream beat up a 7-11 clerk in his first couple years with the Rockets? Not the same as a homeless guy, but about the closest thing i can think of. Never really heard how that case panned out, but seems rather similar. Cant praise one man as our citys most celebrated athlete ever while condemning jones for basically the same thing.

Dennis Rodman did far worse ON THE COURT. So did a number of NBA guys.
    How about Kermit Washington?

Those calling for his release or trade are just a bunch of morons.

A lot of NBA basketball players in real life are just a**holes. That's the truth. They cheat on their wives, they really don't care about the fans (unless they win a championship), and they've got egos the size of Alaska b/c they've had their ass kissed from an early age. Sorry, but it's the truth.

Makes no difference whatsoever in me rooting for them, but it is what it is.

Jones should be concerned about his future, IMO. Why? Alexander is apt to blow his stack. All the great press we've been getting. The sudden change of status of the Rockets from youngest team in the league, a team with a future, if we can add some pieces, to honest to god contender status, which is a very, very big deal. Advertisers calling, lining up deals. Agents calling, looking to place clients on a contending team, and now out of the blue you've got the fellow who was possibly your starting power forward stomping a homeless person? He's going to be pissed.

If some homeless man grabbed me, I'd probably kick at him too. Not saying that's what happened, but would justify it in my eyes. Stomping, is different than kicking though. Stomping implies malice behind the act.

What an idiotic thing to do. I don't care what other facts come out, stomping on a homeless person in ANY context is absurd.
