Hey I hear your point, though.

Regardless, Terrence did something stupid and illegal, whether he was sober or inebriated it was something that should not have happened.

I'm totally not trying to downplay this but at least its not something major (rape Kobe, murder Hernandez, or illegal drugs entire late 90s Cowboys team) so that I'm thankful for, he will get his slap on the wrist learn from the experience and get back to work.

Who are you to say anything I do is fake or fraud...you dont know anything about me and will never.

I know what im on but thanks for reiterating:rolleyes:

All you do is judge.....I post opinions (which is what about 85% of this site is full of).

And obviously people don't know the difference between a opinion and passing judgement.

Again back to basketball because this is for the birds.

    OK, here goes:

T-Jones went to a bar/club, had a few drinks and was feeling pretty toasty. Jones and his crew were having a great time but eventually decided to call it quits and head home. Once the group was all outside the bar they began talking and laughing loudly which caught a nearby officer's attention.

Jones then saw a couple of homeless men sleeping on the ground, and when he walked by them, he said to his friends: "Aye, mf's... Watch this." Jones then stumped one of the homeless guy's legs and yelled: "Wake Up!" Jones and his friends then started laughing and running away, taking joy in what they had just seen.

The officer that noticed them leaving the bar witnessed the whole thing and went to detain Jones. Jones' crew continued to laugh and joke as Jones was being arrested, several of them even pointed and mocked him. After Jones was taken away, his crew grabbed a bite to eat then went to the police station to bail him out.

Currently, Jones and his friends are chilling and laughing about how crazy last night was.

He needs to apologize, seek counseling, accept whatever punishment lands on him from the team and/or NBA and move on with his career. It isn't like he can't come back from this but the fact is if he did this then he needs help.

Sigh. If you are making $100K for playing basketball for ONE night you are paid to take your chances. Completely different from intentionally picking out a sleeping person (homeless or not) and attacking them.

idiotic response? how so? a freakin cop witnessed exactly what happened. as far as i'm concerned, all the "facts" are out. not a complicated thing to understand. put your homerism aside and open your eyes to what happened.

Yes we need more details, but I just can't imagine a scenario (of everything that's been said is true) where tjones could justify stomping this man.

Now if maybe the guy threw something e talked about his mama or something earlier in the night, than he MIGHT have a reason, but even then, come on man. I'm 20 and I realize that this is absolutely stupid.

This is usually my reaction, but this seems different. Given how utterly defenseless the victim is, and how Jones was unprovoked, his actions seem downright malevolent. What kind of person has this in them? I mean, getting drunk and fighting some other idiot drunk, I don't condone but I can understand...but stomping on a sleeping homeless man is less like a bar fight and more closely like kicking a puppy for the hell of it. It's disturbing.

Young man deserves a second chance. Two strikes are you're out.

go back to 94 and imagine Thorpe doing this. no way. there's a bit of some tarnish on this whole situation especially now the rockets are contenders.

It's a good reason. And they are open 24/7. Tough to get drunk on them, though.
