You can go for the Freedom Sprint for Jaybird. They are $95 on Amazon now. They have 4.5 hours of battery life vs. the 8 on the Bluebuds X.

Thanks. I found a comparison between the two models:

It seems like there is a significant gap with Impedance. I'm not sure what that means, but will it have a material effect on the Sprint performance? Everything else between the two models is comparable. The Sprint is slightly heavier but I can live with that difference.

I have the Bluebuds X, so I'm not sure. The main reason I went with the Bluebuds was the battery life. Otherwise, I would have gotten the Sprints.

I'd want the Beats by Dre...yeah I know, Im doing it wrong. I like the style and look the best of any headphones, and since Im not that big of a music freak, Im not too concerned with sounds that all sound the same to an amateur. Douchey of me, but Im fine with that.

I wouldn't call it douchey of you. If you value style and looks over the actual sound quality, then no reason not to get Beats. It's your money. If you're willing to fork over the extra cash, then go for it. They're definitely not BAD headphones like many make them out to be. They're just overpriced.

However just know the level of drop off in sound quality is pretty steep. If you're cool with that, then no big deal.

I have a few "audiophile" headphones and I generally like the beats headphones!!! Don't worry about other people thinking that you are a douche, if they have a problem they are being a douche.

People who act like they know everything there is to know about sound quality are some of the biggest Dbags.
