I've never said that his raw stuff is "great", and i've never built him up as a staff Ace. All i've ever said is that he is a solid starter, and I guess that word solid has different meanings to some. In any case, we can all argue our points on guys who some of us think are good and others think are overrated, these boards are all about opinions. But to think that he is about to go into decline, or that he is likely to suffer an injury when he has no history of that, to me that seems to just be searching for something bad to say. You pick out Harang as a comparison, we could all find one guy to compare someone else to if we wanted to, just to prove our point.

You could very well be right, i'm not saying you are necessarily wrong. I've just never heard anyone talk about likely decline for a guy who is 28, in his 4th full season, and having probably his second best of the four seasons right now. That's all.

Low minors in my mind means single A... similar to the Veras trade.

If they're highly rated prospects, I don't care where they are in the system. We have enough MLB ready or near ready prospects in AAA and AA that we can add to the ridiculous depth already in A ball.

If no Glasnow, then, Heredia and/or Bell?

Every "source" keeps contradicting other "sources"

Exactly, makes the whole process "fun" I suppose, but nothing we read really means anything till it's about an actual deal

I'd love Glasnow, but Heredia or Bell would be nice consolation prizes.

A couple of those low-minors guys that I'd like to see in a possible Pirates haul are C Jin-De Jhang (Jamestown, short-season), 2B Dilson Herrera (West Virginia, A), and maybe RHP Clay Holmes (WV, A).

Wide range isn't as wide as I was hoping he'd say.
