Obviously Bud is the one who is going to generate the "rumors" on twitter and everywhere else I still wonder if guys like Bedard and Corporan might be moved. Especially now that Molina looks like he is heading to the DL in St. Louis. Corporan hit over his head early in the year, but he is still better than what a lot of contenders have as backups, and we have a list of young catchers who will need a spot to move soon. And Bedard has thrown well lately and just doesn't seem to have a future spot on this team, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see a package type of deal today or a flurry of smaller moves.

I highly doubt it, though a team could think of using him that way in a postseason. Pirates in the offseason make sense, but not now, even with Wandy injured. Honestly, sending Bedard/Norris/Corporan as a package to Baltimore could happen. They really need 2 starters right now, and their backup catcher is just flat out terrible (offensively).

It seems to me the worst thing that could happen is that the Houston Astros DON'T trade Bud Norris. And that ain't that bad.
The worst thing is that they give him up for low end prospects that don't ever make majors. I find that doubtful considering the Astros control over Norris.
I trust Luhnow enough to say we won't trade Norris unless he feels like we are getting proper value back. If nothing comes up, keep him until the winter and deal him then.
Or not deal him at all. I want to see us get the best value for Bud, but there is since in just not trading him if the price is never right. I think there is wisdom in having a veteran presence in the club house with new pitchers coming up, and that will surely be the case for the next calender year. That all being said, I would prefer to see us get a decent return for Bud and go from there.
Completely agree, only way I see us just moving him for less than value is if Crane just tells him you have to move that salary for next year

Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Arizona have shown recent interest in Norris and a fourth team could come through as late candidate. The offers the Astros have received are “pretty soft,” the source said. As a result, the organization is waiting the situation out with the belief a club could meet its demands in a last-minute scenario. “I still think he’s gone and he’ll be traded,” the source said.
