Yep I agree, Avery was drafted fairly high because of his athleticism. But 5 years later he is struggling badly in AAA, certainly not someone who would likely have any impact on significant winning in the future here

I don't understand Pittsburgh being interested although they must be with so many rumors out there. Pittsburgh has issues on offense, their pitching has been good and Wandy should be back fairly soon. Would seem if they were willing to move prospects it would be for an impact bat
I'm pretty locked in on Arizona and Matt Davidson now. Kevin Towers has no sense of prospect value and I think we can get a great haul from him.

I do remember Bud pitching very well against the Cards on many of occassions. They might be trying to get him for the stretch run against the Cards and possible meetings later on in the season or even playoffs.
Yea I think he would do well there, just seems like if they are going to move some of their future they would want to improve their offense which has been really weak.
They seem to really want to move Kennedy as a part of acquiring a starter so it might take a 3 team deal to make something work with them. Does make a lot of sense for them to be after him though and a package around Davidson could be good
