Why do you assume this? Only thing we can gather is Red Sox liked Peavy at his cost more than Bud/Lee.

If anything the Peavy trade helps us, as of right now they essentially gave up a true SS Jose Iglesias for Peavy. That's a big deal in itself.
I agree he is likely gone, I just hope we get a legit return for him if we do move him. And hope whoever we get is closer to the majors rather than farther away, at some point we need to be getting better at the major league level

Can't see Gausman/Bundy unless we gave them one of McCullers/Foltynewicz/Cosart along with Bud, which I don't think we'd do. Anyone else could probably be had.
