He has already proven long ago that he is a starting point guard in this league.

It'd be nice if he could learn a few tricks from Shane on defense. :)

whether you believe he is a championship caliber PG or not, it's hard not to root for him as a person. Great character guy and someone who you have no doubt will give 100%.

    I agree.

As same as Tebowmania, Linsanity is so unreal.

Some people want to prove it is a fluke and Lin is a scrub.

    Others hope it happens again

"Not living in the past of linsanity...I'm building towards a new future [as Patrick Beverly's backup]."

I think it will be an interesting year with Lin. I am very excited about the possibility of Lin being utilized to initiate the secondary offense after a Harden-Howard PnR. Lin will need to shoot more threes. I think the way he shot at end of the year, he is accurate enough, but sometimes he hesitates on kick out and loses uncontested 3 opportunities.

If he shows that he will attempt a three every chance he gets, it will force opposing teams to try to take it away. With aggressive closeouts, Lin can then penetrate a lot easier. Lin penetrating is fun to watch as it helps the Rockets win.

    A perfect back-up for Harden.

All I have to say is that...I held out that Doc Rocket was right...I held out that Howard would be in houston...and I am holding out that next year Lin has a MUCH improved year. He will be our 3rd star.
    : )

    Just wait...

Lin's ability to penetrate when the ball swings around to him after the initial Harden-Howard PNR will be more important than being a good spot up shooter in my opinion and this a better fit in the offense then Beverley. Zach Lowe does a great job, as always, explaining the evolution of the NBA offense in these two articles:

    http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9520497/the-oklahoma-city-thunder-future-legacy-james-harden-trade
    http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9149381/packing-paint-nba-defensive-strategy-forcing-coaches-rethink-their-offense

Basically Lowe suggests Miami realized that running James/Wade-Bosh pick and roll with spot up shooters wasn't effective against elite defenses, the type you face in the playoffs. He suggests that's what OKC needs to fix in their offense.

if he could just draw fouls and flop a little better, he'd be jeremy danger. his flopping is atrocious, too much arm movement and not enough head bopping. it's all about bopping the head, back and to the left.
He already has one of the best first steps, just ask tony allen and iggy.

Does Dwight Howard really need a workout video on youtube?

Other teams will just bruise him and he'll be out of the picture. Hopefully another team is watching this so they'll take him off out hands.

He will be a success in the league. With or without the Rockets.

    LOL

Nice video and good to see Lin working out, like pros do. But when someone posts a video of Lin having a beer or sitting on a beach CF is going to go crazy. "Why isn't he practicing! Doesn't he know his job's on the line?"

I'm sure he is working out hard during the off-season. And also occasionally taking a break. When we get the inevitable "Why is Lin making a commercial!?" thread, someone please remember to post this video for balance.

Balance? In CF? What am I thinking?

Jordan had to train his body to be very physical at one point..because he was getting killed in the court..if you are not in top form your going to get a beating..JLin learn that from last season..hopefully Linsanity part 2 come back but i doubt it if mchale wont let him have the ball..we will see if they use JLin fully as a pg if not its best to trade him
