I didn't even know Kelly Dwyler was on this board before today, that's a nice surprise!

Chris Palmer and along with the rest of ESPN's "writers/insiders" are all tools. Palmer, Shelbourne, Broussard were as reliable as Oden's knee's throughout the Dwightmare. They all made up BS to try to make it seem like those big market teams like LA and Dallas were in the lead for him etc.

I don't go back here far enough to remember it firsthand, but wasn't Dwyer on Clutchfans even before (or at least near enough to) his ascension into professional sportswriting?

Kelly has been a member for a long time and wrote an cool article about Clutchfans years ago -- he called CFs the 'The Undisputed Grandaddy of NBA Fan sites'.

Yahoo Sports is becoming a sports machine. Couple years ago, they were the first to report Yao to retire.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, this guy is just baaad.

    Quoting from the article:

"Palmer said after speaking with management he’s known for months the 2012-13 NBA season would be his last with the company. He also said he’s mulling offers and his reps at CAA are confident he’ll land in a spot best suited for his skill set."

    Skill set?

Translation: Being a shill for the Lakers and slobbing Kobe's knob whenever his wife or Gang-o'-Ho's won't.

I know Skip is a very polarizing figure but he has been a legitimate sports journalist for 40 years or so before becoming a heel on First Take.Obviously most of the theatrics and such on First Take are to bring ratings. Skip has more jounalistic credentials in his big toe than Palmer will ever have.

I have to take issue with this. Bayless' work in attempting to "out" Troy Aikman in Dallas and his awful turn with the Chicago Tribune in the late 1990s were the 750-word versions of the crap he spews at the unemployed and Netflix-less on basic cable each day.

IS IT TRUE THAT RICK HATES HIS GUTS??

Because I really want that to be true. Time for you to do some investigative journalism, KD.

I hate when people state predictions as if they're fact.
