I have a galaxy Note 2. My next phone will be whichever Nokia model has the best camera at the time.

The Moto X is coming out this week and the LG G2 will be revealed August 7th. The G2 is probably worth waiting for.

You'll won't get as many updates, you'll have an outdated phone. The same routine that the 3g users went through when Siri was implemented. It's not that your phone can't run the updates, or that your phone will be slow, it's that Apple charges a premium for you to get these by forcing you into a new phone. Everybody does it, but I would say MS and Apple are the worst about it.

I got the 1020. It's as good as everyone says it is. The camera is untouchable. The OS is somehow even faster with the Amber update. It's lighter, faster, and it has an amazing camera. Great phone if you're stuck on AT&T.

Switched to a galaxy 4s from iPhone 4 and I'm not getting texts from iPhone users. Did a ton of searching and still haven't found a solid solution.

    Any help?

Not a solution, but a decent workaround:

Switch the WhatsApp and ask your friends to use it as well. I love it. It doesn't solve the problem now though... Sorry.

Seems blackberry is falling behind in the smartphone wars. Wonder if they will become the next Palm.

I think Apple or MS would be wise to swallow them up. Tons of government money available, no device is as secure as a blackberry. I think RIM will die very soon, but blackberry will live on in other forms.

If only Blackberry would make an indestructible smartphone, with the same specs as leading phones, they would be closer to the top of the smartphone wars.

Or alternatively RIM can just pull out of the smartphone business and just license their software to other companies.

But I agree, RIM won't survive in the smartphone market much longer. There just isn't a reason to buy a blackberry unless you're concerned about security for your email. Once smartphones got access to Exchange servers, blackberry was basically done for.

It's an apple issue since it looks like imessage is routing the texts instead of just using the technology the way it was intended. I think you should try to unregister your iphone from itunes and hopefully apple's database gets updated.

Battery life is fairly even (unless you are going with something like the Droid Maxx). It mainly comes down to what you are running on the phone. Specs likewise at that level is also fairly pointless except for Internet arguments.

Screen size, however, is a very tangible aspect and there are definitely vastly different options depending on your preference.

How are you liking it so far? I have a Lumia 520 right now and it's pretty legit for a cheap phone. It's sad that a quadcore Android phone still isn't as smooth as a single core WP8 phone with 512mb of ram.

That being said, I still love Android and will likely switch back to it, but the 1020 is looking like my next at the moment. I'm really liking what Nokia is doing as far as hardware design.

Oh and one thing I noticed coming from a Samsung phone. Damn do Nokia phones have better signal. Was driving through the country in Southern Oklahoma this weekend and while driving my girlfriends Galaxy Nexus would have absoltuely no cell coverage in certain areas, and I'd have two bars in the same spot.
