yeah im a huge astros hater with my username cuz i post bad about singleton after he got fat at such a young age. get real dude
majority of those posts are made in a game thread what is your point? should i start quoting everyones post in game threads now? you're obviously going to have high emotions watching a flipping game.
You're missing the point, you said you have only posted a few one line negative statements. All he did was prove you wrong. No move along, nothing to see here
lmao he proved me wrong by finding negative posts i made in a game thread which the astros lost? maybe you need to go look in the garm game threads and i guess every poster here is negative then. get real i love the astros we all have emotions.
im sure every poster in the garm who posts bad about the rockets are trolls . get real your point of my negative posts in game threads is stupid and is invalid. anyways im done arguing

For some reason my reaction to people b****ing didn't post so here is another of how I feel given the shenanigans of this thread.... At any rate see this thread again when I get work....
So after checking this thread, MTR, and twitter consistently over the weekend, Veras was traded to Detroit without any warnings or specific rumors. I think we also might see Norris traded today as well, as tomorrow might act as a soft deadline due to his scheduled start.
(edit: whoops, missed the good discussion in the Veras thread) Danry Vasquez 19 years old was rated the Tigers' #4 prospect coming into the season. left fielder, hasn't shown much power, has some speed and hits for decent avg http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?sid=milb&t=p_pbp&pid=606281

This makes a ton of sense. He's a young pitcher under club control who will still be in his prime years when we're supposed to be a better team. Now whether Luhnow can sell this to other GMs to drive up the price is another story.
It would be a good story if Norris was traded to the Orioles and got his first start against the Astros, although I'm guessing any potential trade would happened after his start tomorrow night.
Most prospects don't pan out, even the blue chippers. You hope they turn into a pitcher as good as Norris. He is a proven big league starter, not an ace by any means, but a capable mid-back of the rotation type. He's only 28, so he'll still be good through the Astros supposed contention window. I'm sure Luhnow isn't just saying things to try to get the best offer, he means it. If we don't get a genuinely great offer we simply keep him. We are under no pressure whatsoever to move Bud Norris.
