Im in Monterey for my annual tomato harvest purchase. Ficking Cali coast. Can't deny it Texas is still better, right!
I love Cali , if it wasn't so expensive in regards to cost of living. I get better bang for the buck in TX.
I have never been, but plan on visiting my buddy in Thousand Oaks in December. Looks beautiful, but it's crazy to think that my friend is a Lawyer working for a decent company and still can't afford anything other than an apartment.
Everyone has their preferences, but it's hard to really argue against California when it comes to a comparison with Texas other than money being involved.
Love the segment south of Monterey. Carmel has the most awesome and dog-infested beach I've ever seen. Also, if any of y'all ever get to go waaaay north on the Cali coast, it's still gorgeous (more like Oregon), full of redwoods, weirdness and better affordability.
How about this: The water is overrated. Too cold. I say that as the bikinis walk past me. So what is he best city in Texas that we agreed on. And where is the best BBQ in the world. And what team did Hakeem just sign with again Help me out here
I know. I'm moving back to Houston. Just give me a year or so figure this out. In the meantime. I have season tickets to sell y'all Houston baby. Just like Hakeem
Btw. What would be super cool is if the new era rockets also brought back home both our favorite cali immigrants -- B-Bob and CBrownFanClub Last I heard CBFC was raising little Giants fans. This is a critical moment in their development. Lets plan this
Hey, I didn't say California is the best at everything. You can't find BBQ in Cali like you can in Texas. I also prefer Texas' burgers to SoCal's. Here's the thing though, I'll sacrifice some what of what Texas has to offer for everything that California offers (if money were no object) -- especially a place like the Bay Area which would fit my needs.
love everything in the Central Coast starting at Santa Barbara, Solvang, San Luis Obispo, Hearst Castle, Big Sur, Carmel, and Monterey the Aquarium there is fantastic. we stayed one little town within walking distance South of Monterey, Pacific Grove.

Garlic. We are talking G a r l i c Well ok. I think that started today. My sisters are doing that. I'm out. I have 25 pounds of Fresno tomatoes to take care of. We are almost home
Spent a few weeks in monterey earlier this summer visiting my college roommate who just moved there. Lots of fun Thousand Oaks is pretty lame, my girlfriend is from there so I e been a few times. It's pretty boring
I really want to take a nice long drive up the coast. Monterrey looks beautiful. Still haven't been up to NorCal yet.
