the pacers got so much better it's not even funny. they now have crazy depth with Scola, Copeland and Granger coming back. but its alright they're in the East and for the Heat to handle. this year it's not going to be so easy for the Heat to win a chip with the Pacers, Bulls, Knicks, Rockets, Warriors, Nets all improved
Good for Scola. I didn't wanna see him rot the rest of his career away on a bad team. He will be a perfect anchor for their bench.
I'm really happy for Luis. He fits the Pacers identity like a glove. Tough guy who comes through in the clutch.
That's exactly what I was thinking. He knows he sucked. He just wasn't himself after the trade. Now, he will give it 100% for a contender and he has gotten over being traded from his beloved Rockets to a dump like the Suns are right now. He still appreciated the fact no one in Phoenix gave him too much of a hard time while he was sucking there.
I don't know. With the way Lebron owns DRose I just don't see Chicago passing the Heat. Still, with the way Thibs makes that team play I would not be shocked if they did it, I just don't think it likely.
Obviously the Rockets still had the best off season, but this pickup for the Pacers cannot be understated. Their fans should be overjoyed over this.
That's a little harsh. He was still productive overall. He'll be filling Hansbrough's old role and figures to draw more minutes and a bigger role than Psycho T did. Between he and a healthy Granger, their bench looks significantly better by default.
The Pacers should be damned good this year. I don't know if they'll topple the Heat for EC champs, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see the league office scream "Noooooooooooo!" (kinda like Anakin/Darth at the end of SW Episode 3, only, even funnier) when they realize their finals ratings will suck.
Man Scola is such a professional. I love it. Hill/CJ Watson Stephenson/Granger George/Copeland West/Scola Hibbert/Miahmin With improvement to everyone in their starting line up (besides West), and a MUCH improved bench.....Pacers are def a force this year. Miami is in trouble.
