He doesn't exactly sound happy about the trade. It's almost like he wanted to stay. I'm not sure what the "right way" is to him.

Thanks to the Suns. And you know we could have traded Scola for a first round pick when he was making 9 million a year instead of the 4 million he's making with the Suns because....
Also the Suns took on salary deadweight in this trade, Gerald Green. This would have prevented the Rockets from signing Howard. I don't think a team would give up a first round pick and take Scola's salary off the Rockets hands.
So glad to see Scola playing for a championship caliber team. I am officially a Pacers fan. Rockets and Pacers in the finals . Book it.
I went to Yahoo Sports and read about the Scola trade. Not one bad thing was said about him in the comments. That's how you know you are playing the game the right way. Good luck to Scola, one of my favorite Rockets of all time.
I want Scola to win a championship (as long as it's not against the Rockets). He's a great player, and he deserves it.
Fast forward 10 months... "Welcome back to SportsCenter. Where will LeBron land? How is Carmelo handling yet another playoff collapse? Also, much more on the CP3-Blake Griffin rift. And in the world of baseball, A-Rod is 2 weeks away from returning to the field. Buster Olney has more around the corner. Ooohhh, and the Rockets-Pacers are in the Finals. Tune into ESPN 790 for more on that series. Now back to LeBron (slurp, slurp)."
I hope Scola's crappy year last year was due to being in Phoenix on that laughable team. It would suck if he fell off right when he's back on a contender again.
I understand his frustration. The Rockets developed him and had to release him in a pragmatic move. It worked out but Its frustrating to get nothing in a direct trade for Scola then watch the suns get so much in return.
