That pull up J of Westbrook's is nearly automatic. Harden might be the better fit for Houston. Simple as that.

Hey dumbass, first mind your own business and second, I still consider this thread worthless and should never have been created. I will never apologize for that because I feel that is the truth. His post could have gone into ANY OF THE HARDEN THREADS instead of cluttering up the front page of GARM. I gave him props for not taking things overly seriously, something you asshats should learn also to do. Capish loser?

Forget it, waiting for a response from someone like you is a waste of my brain cells. Ignored!

    Both are very good scorers

Russell is better rebounder, gets more assists and better defender

Really depends on what a team is looking for. A Westbrook/Howard tandem would be scary though

I really don't know if westbrook and Durant are an ideal combination. I know they got to the finals with harden and might have gotten past Memphis with westbrook this year, but too often it seems that westbrook forgets that he has the second best player in the game on his team. when he is on, he can take over a game with on ball defense while getting to the rim or hitting mid range pull up jumpers that are unguardable one on one. but when his shot isn't falling he doesn't stop shooting. normally, that's fine - your shooters need to shoot and it's up to the coach to take them out...

Unless you're a PG and you have Kevin Durant on your team. i'll take harden for now. I think he's better for the locker room, better for the guys around him, and still has room to grow (I think westbrook is who he is). And remember, westbrook has been in brooks' system for years now - last year was harden's first in McHale's and 1) McHale reworked the offense on the fly when he showed up and 2) the team didn't have a summer together to mesh.

basically all opinion, but... that's what the OP asked for.

Honestly I'd probably pick Westbrook over Harden if I were a team with no other all-star caliber player, but i think okc and the rockets would both be better with harden. Westbrook belongs on a team that has to play one on 5 hahaha

Westbrick doesn't have any shot that's "nearly automatic", but you can be sure if he misses, it won't stop him from chucking the ball back up till it finally goes in. Harden is a much better player than Westbrick, simple as that.

    You're clueless.

When he destroyed Bev and Lin in the first two games before his injury last May he sure as hell didnt look much worse than James.

Destroyed? 19 points on 15 shots and 29 points on 26 shots is "destroying" them? 41.5% shooting from the field and 22.2% shooting from 3 might be impressive to some people, but not me. Honestly, the reason the Rockets nearly won that second game was because of Westbrick chucking up 3 point brick after 3 point brick.

Quick exercise, you are Daryl Morey and Sam Presti calls you up and asks if you'll take Westbrook and a first rounder for Harden. Do you laugh at him before hanging up, or do you just hang up on him?

He is talking about Harden and Westbrook. Where are the rules that state what type of Threads a fan can start? I will wait on that.

People hate on westbrook way too much. If he is so inefficient shouldn't the thunder have been better? I mean reggie jackson did have a 58 TS%.

That logic doesn't flow, just because they struggled without his ball hogging, volume shooting ways doesn't mean that he's great, it just means that their team is seriously lacking in scorers not named Durant or Westbrook.

no it's more so that Westbrook makes the opponent's defenses collapse on him which gives room to the other players. when he left the thunder did not have time to adjust. i would say this was brook's fault for not being ready to adjust

Harden is a much better bballer than Westbrook. Coach Nick from bball breakdown thinks that Westbrook is a very flawed player and points out his mistakes.
