Oh, btw, VERY VERY happy for Scola. Loved his play and hated to see him go, but like many others, I understood the move. But having to possibly face a team like the Pacers in a possible finals matchup, this is why I hope we keep Asik all season long.
The Pacers are getting even better, ECF repeat? So... who's going to win the preseason games in the Philippines and in Taiwan?
Great trade for the Pacers. Happy for Scola. Top of the Eastern Conference is going to be fun to watch! Going to be really interesting to see what happens with Granger this year and how he comes back from the injury. High dollar expiring contract.
The Suns have finally announced what had already been decided last night, that Scola has been traded to the Indiana Pacers in return for Gerald Green, Miles Plumlee, and a lottery protected 2014 first-round pick. http://sunngun.com/2013/07/27/suns-...edium=Network&utm_campaign=Around the Network
Phoenix now holds the potential for three first round draft picks (if Indiana and Minnesota make the playoffs) in possibly one of the best drafts in NBA history. http://sunngun.com/2013/07/27/suns-...edium=Network&utm_campaign=Around the Network
Like a lot of people here, I hope Luis has a great year with the Pacers and helps them to the finals. The Rockets being in the finals as well would be icing on the cake!
My favorite player when he was here. The East is looking stronger and stronger. The Nets, Pacers, and Bulls are definitely better. I don't know about the Knicks. Everybody's best shot in the West is to have the Heat knocked out in the Eastern finals.
I'm extremely happy that Scola has the opportunity to contribute to a contending team instead of rotting on a rebuilding roster. Best of luck to him and the Pacers and I'll be rooting for them to beat the Heat.
