    Like JR said!! Historically Hakeem has never been a free autograph signer. He rarely, or ever sign in public, almost like Tim Duncan in signing autographs. Whenever he does sign something for free either you have to buy the item, or they will give you an item for him to sign.

    He used to run at the Dulles High School track in Sugar Land. He would always sign photos that he had in his SUV after his run. My sister has a couple of autographs from him that she got on different occasions. Both were free, and he was said to be really nice

    i called to get the details:

    definitely no personal items allowed, and they will give you either a "card" (picture i assume?), or a crappy t-shirt with 2 pictures of hakeem (maybe they said 1 of hakeem and 1 of calvin) shooting layups on the front, and "valenti" written on the back to get signed.

    You are absolutely correct, sir. I taught English at Dulles High School from 1997 to 1999- it was the closest place for him as he had a house in New --whatever the name of that subdivision is in Sugar Land where the athletes live.
