They love them some ice cream in Indiana, and they will love Luis there. Very happy for him, and it's the perfect time in his career to fully become a sixth or seventh man on a strong team.
I'm very happy for Scola, one of my favorite Rockets ever. I was sorry, but understood, that he was amnestied. Another favorite ex-Rocket, Shane Battier, and Scola may be in for some serious battles next year.
So, which is more: the Pacers are better, a legit threat (7 games v Heat including Game 1's oops by Vogel) or the Suns are worse, a legit threat: #1 Lotto? It's tough, it's close.
I can't think of a better offensive PF combo in the nba with west, from hansbrough to scola wow Pacers are now gonna score over 80 points a game
Hansbrough upgraded to Scola Gerald Green upgraded to Copeland Augustin upgraded to Watson added Granger kept everyone good What's not to like?
Btw, they need to get Gortat out of there, he's too good of a player to be on that team at 29 years old.
The Pacers are a gritty team with good chemistry, kind of like the Rockets a few years ago, but with more talents. Scola's style fits very well with them.
I'll have to mimic the CFers on this one and and say I'm so glad Scola's finally getting a shot with a contending team. He definitely deserves it. He may not have had an opportunity with Yao and McGrady but he's certainly getting a healthier George and Hibbert finally. He'll be great filling in minutes behind West who i suspect won't be played as many minutes. Pritchard working some magic this off season for the Pacers roster. Indiana's going to love Scola. Long live the Ice Cream Man! I hope we see them in the finals.
Good for Luis he deserves to compete and will fit in well with Indiana. Actually really like this deal for Phoenix as well. If they can somehow get the pacers 14' first, they will be set up very well for the future. Already have Minny's 14' pick top 13 protected so they need to hope Love can stay healthy. Bledsoe, Len, top 5 2014 pick, about pick 15 in 2014, Indy 2014 pick, and high 2nd round pick. For once, the suns look like they could actually turn this around.
Larry Bird, probably. Pritchard is the #2 guy. He's allowed to make phone calls, but Larry Bird is the decision maker.
