I'm guessing courtside season tickets will cost you anywhere between $75,000 and $100, 000 so there's not going to be much left for your kids' tuition.
3,000 on Rockets season tickets 20,000 invested 2,000 pay off last of student loans 10,000 to purchase and completely restore a Jeep Wagoneer..my favorite car 15,000 trips to Japan, Europe and Vancouver next summer 30,000 savings 10,000 World Series of Poker entry fee 10,000 on stuff like guitars, tattoos, a 70" flat screen, etc
since I'm still in college I would bank the 50k to cover whatever debt I'll have after school is finished (doubt it will be much), and invest the rest. Also pay my family's debt
Oh well I tried, I guess the Bambinos are going to Lone Star College.... ....... ....... .......
I was thinking more along these lines as well. How do you get to the point where you know what you're doing with rental properties though, especially if you're just starting out? Seems like it'd be easy to get burned by making the wrong investment.
If 100k tax free.. Pay off my truck. Pay down a little of our mortgage. Put some into our emergency savings. Put some into the kids savings. Season tickets to either the Rockets or Astros (right now it'd be Rockets). Renovate the bathrooms. New sound system for the wife's car plus some performance modifications. The rest goes into a vacation fund so we can see the rest of the world...and see it before we're old and decrepit.
Nothing special..just a 2007 Corolla S. But it is a stick and it's fun to drive. We actually put some tC wheels on it that really sets it apart from the others. She's been clamoring for a little more horsepower, and I may have to give in to keep her happy for another 5-6 yeras.
For the more expensive games, it indeed does. I'm on my phone so I can't post a link, but it's posted on the site. The cheaper games are around $500-$1000 though, depending on where your courtside seats are.
You guys are nothing but dreamers man. Go out and do it instead of posting it on a basketball forum you know???
Clutchfans, don't listen to this guy. You can do it, with the right mind set and perseverance you can achieve your $100,000 goal. I believe in clutchfans, don't let fallenphoenix bring you down.
Ninety percent I'll spend on good times, women and Irish Whiskey. The other ten percent I'll probably waste. Tug McGraw
