That is an awesome video. One thing about Hakeem highlight reels though, they never capture some of the spinning he would do when tripled team on the perimeter near the ft line. He would come down and a few times get doubled or even tripled and still hit jump shots in that SA series. Everyone remembers the moves that resulted in dunks or lay-ups, but some of those jumps shots were sick.
Making it look easy with a crazy shot chart. Also some Drextler highlights towards the end of the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXb7dn7yKWk
I remember one game, I think it was against the bucks, the ball flew out of bounds behind the basket and he jumped out after it and like just threw it over his head as he was flying out and it went in as the halftime buzzer sounded I was like....
Beautiful. His shot blocking was so incredible...just the force on his rejections was unbelievable. It's like he was playing against a bunch of little children, and he made it look so easy.

hey guys i wasn't watching the nba when hakeem was playing. could any of you please recommend some of his best games to watch.... i know i need to watch the playoff finals games. any other one i should watch?
Watch the 95 western conf finals , Houston vs Spurs, Spurs starting centre, David Robinson was the MVP that nba season. This series made Olajuwon into legenendary status, beautiful series to watch.
The thing that makes the Dream special is how good he is in the playoffs. Watch any of the games from the 86 Western Conference Finals against the Lakers. He dominates at the age of 23-24. Some of his best individual games are in losing team efforts against the Sonics in the playoffs. 87 Western Semis Game 6. Games 3,4,6 in 1993 against the Sonics. This is the year before his MVP year (Barkley was MVP) he became the most dominant player in the league. He was the best defensive player in the league by far, and 2nd to MJ offensively. You can see this in that 93 series against the Sonics, Sonics robbed the Rockets in 7 games and then lost to the Suns in 7 games, who lost to the Bulls in 6 games. The Bulls barely beat the Knicks that year too. Bulls, Knicks, Suns, Sonics, Rockets 1993 playoffs. Strongest number of playoff teams in NBA history. We really had a shot that year and matched up well against the Suns and Bulls. Also Dream dominated the Jazz in the 94 and 95 playoff run. And as mentioned above the 95 Spurs series is the most well known and legendary. Again you look at his competition in these playoff series. He is going up against major talent and playing his best bball. A guy like Duncan excels more when he is clearly the better player in the front line, with the better team. But you look at the way Duncan plays against the best front line competition and he doesn't bloom. Shaq led Lakers, Pistons 05, Gasol led Lakers, and most teams the Spurs don't have homecourt advantage against.
