His alley oop was pretty nice. I had just tuned in and was thinking "where is Parsons" then BOOM...."There he is"
Jesus Christ, settle down. Chris Paul, Westbrook, Parker, Rose. Curry just had an elite postseason, Wall brings elite playmaking and defense.
It's nonsense to pin that on him now. Silly hyperbole. But, IMO, Kyrie has shown the skillset and closing ability to be the next NBA megastar. What he might be the best at right now is pure handles. Besides handles, he's demonstrated long-range and mid-range shooting, ability to finish at the rim with contact and great court vision. What he clearly fails in now is defense. Bottom line is Kyrie has to put together 2-3 great, complete seasons in-a-row. If he stays healthy, I believe that will happen. Of all the "up and coming" talents in the league, I put Kyrie at the top. Maybe Mike Brown can make him exert more on defense.
Here is a link to the box score. 8 pts. What concerned me was Chandler's jumper still looks too flat.

So... Is it safe to say Chandler won't make the cut? And dd I hear the crowd boo him for the air ball? Were those Lakers fans? And why was he touching his hair every now and then although his hair remained perfectly styled throughout?
Forgot my camera so no pics...Sorry about that. I wouldn't read too much into this game, but Parson's didn't look like anything special against upper tier talent out there. Either way, I doubt he makes the team. I wanted to see the Larry Sanders show, but he was held out due to a sprained ankle. Overall, a fun experience. You could have easily bought the cheapest seats and moved down to nice seats. CP3, Melo, JSmoove, Joe Dumars, Clyde, Chauncey, Chris Mullin, and Lenny Wilkens were all in the building.
would this count as a Parsons highlight? <iframe width="280" height="158" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/vt6rsQtmpLo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://youtu.be/vt6rsQtmpLo
Pretty much. He didn't really stand out. He played okay though but not enough to be considered for a spot. But it's a good experience for him. Hopefully this motivates him to work harder to reach that next level.
He is going to make it when Colangelo finds out that having Parsons on the team is the only way to lure Dwight Howard into playing for Team USA.
