You would honestly say because you graduated from med school you are best doctor in the world? HAHA that is more laughable than Derrick and his comments. I am not bashing him for his comments I really don't care but the fact that some people are actually arguing that he is right is where my beef is cause there is absolutely nothing that proves that.
Hell yea I would, not just cause I graduated from med school, if I gave it my all every day, then no doubt I would. Would I be right? Prob Not. But should someone who gives it there all believe that, if your a confident person there's no doubt you should. And just like being in the middle of surgery, on the basketball court when it matters, a Hinderance of confidence can lead to horrible results.
always been WAY overrated....nba overrates PG's.....when was the last time a Team led by a PG won a tittle? people fall in love with these "physical specimens" flashy guys like rose,westbrook, griffin....but they rarely win anything....lebron being the exception....id take REAL basketball skill and IQ over these flashy guys any day. rose is an undersized SG, never understood the hype.
Does that matter? They both won MVP's what in the hell does age matter? And like I said Steve won 2? So answer was he the best player when he won those 2?
What in the hell does age matter? LOL he's the youngest player in the history to win the MVP award. Ask anybody who knows basketball and they'll tell you that's huge.
And he didn't deserve it. He was not the best player. Not by a longshot. I have no problem with him saying he's the best, but its not close to being true.

Derrick Rose was never the best player in the NBA. Not even close. Rose's game relied a lot on his athletic abilities. After the ACL injury it's interesting to see if he can even get back to his old level. After handling his situations badly last season Rose would be wise to just shut up before he takes the court in the NBA again.
So let me get this straight... you have LeBron as the 4th best player in the NBA? If you worked your ass off and finished med school, you would think you're better than Dr. James Andrews (just to name 1), who many tenured doctors agree is the best in his field? That's not confidence. That's being completely and utterly delusional. Exactly.
So based on most of the comments on this thread, if you had a chance of having Rose on your team you guys wouldn't want him?
except 1 big thing, mental toughness! He can say whatever he wants, doctor says everything is structurally fine, so it can only mean one thing. He couldnt overcome the mental hurdle. Sweet highlights, what about the rest of the series? Ohh yea LeBron shut him down.
If Lebron, Durant and Paul are off the board, yeah I'd consider picking him up. Who knows how he comes back this season, if Dwight is the Dwightof 2011 and before I'd prolly take him over Rose as well. At this point I'd consider taking Westbrook over Rose as well.
