What do you want him to say? I don't agree, and he may not even believe it, but when you're the former MVP, a no.1 overall, and the face of a big franchise with high expectations, you have to say stuff like that. Fans and teammates aren't going to be too happy if you're going in with a losing attitude.
Lebron plays a different position, and yes right now he's the best in the nba. BUT, if Rosé gets back to his old self, you'd have a hard time arguing against rose as number 1.

I'm sure everyone from James Harden to Damian Lillard thinks that they're the best. You have to have that mentality to make it to the pros along with supreme confidence. Whether you state it publicly is up to you.

DRose goes down with an injury for a year and ppl seem to forget how great he was.
