BOOOOOOO!!!!! Unpatriotic b*stard!!! Not really. We'll win gold medals regardless. LeBron has won 2 gold medals already. He's good.
So if we're just looking at young guys, what would the rotation we're looking at? Durant, Westbrook, Curry, Harden, George, Irving, Love... damn, can't even think of a 2nd big for this team. I think losing Lebron probably hurt more than most realize, because he's such a great defender and able to easily play PF in international competition.
International basketball is dieing. We could roll out a college team for the next 6 years and still dominate these "professional teams." Spain and Argentina are not the same teams of 2008. USA has no competition in basketball and it's not even funny.
Yes because the World University Games are a great display of top tier basketball in the world. You sir are a scholar. Yates high school team could beat 3/4 of the the professional teams in Greece, Spain, China. It's pathetic.
Changing of the guard. Davis/Drummond (?) Love/griffin durant/parsons (?) Harden/thompson (?) westbrook/curry
Jordan only participated twice too I think. Lebron realized he's starting on the downslope of the career and needs to preserve his body. The Heat looked a bit old in the finals series against spurs (although it could also be due to playing two finals in a row). But it's hard to believe the big three have already been in the league for 10 seasons. Another 5 and they'll be like KG, pierce and Allen
You claimed we could send a college team and beat good teams. That college team couldn't even beat crap teams. I believe you made my point. Compared to you, I am certainly a scholar.
