Yep. They were honestly a matchup nightmare. Boozer and Okur are just horrible matchups for a player like Yao.
Yea, it drove me crazy to think of the possibility if Yao still plays the game today. If Yao has partner up with someone else instead of Tmac, I think we could of at least gotten one western conference final title. So unfortunate that we had two superstars in Tmac and Yao and both are so brittle with their health. The two extreme in that regard as well. Yao worked too hard to destroy his career, Tmac just too lazy to destroyed his. Short lived memories...
Notice the Defensive Player of the Year guarding him. As a rule, you generally don't double to give help to a guy like that. Dear 2013, Not sure when you started watching the Rockets but Yao's D was much harder to replace than offense.

I don't care how good he was. He was sitting on the bench in his Armani suit when we needed him the most to defeat the Lakers in the playoff. That's my lasting memory of Yao.
Great video and good to see them relaxing, talking shop and reminiscing. Just curious though where the video was shot? Is that Dream's house or is that some high end luxury store? Just wondering about all of the purses on display.
Thanks. I remember reading before about Dream's interest in fashion and design but didn't know he had taken it so far to create a luxury boutique.
dwight is easy to guard just make him shoot from 5 ft out if he has a dunk or layup, just foul him really hard and he will miss FTs doesnt take a legend to figure that out
It's true because Dwight doesn't have a midrange jumper like dream that would have forced Yao out of the paint. D12 actually tried to post Yao up on the block. LOL!!!
