Great game. First one I've gone to with my father in years. Glad we decided to watch the last inning even though we both have work early. Was cool seeing a lot of Clear Creek shirts out there too.

Awesome to see them so excited, especially Porter and Norris. I hope Porter is around when we have enough talent to win and I think he will be.

I hope Norris is too, unless we get offered a deal for top shelf prospects, I hope he is kept

The Stros just need to keep winning only Cosart starts and the top pick should be well in hand!

I hope Barnes sticks around for a while..obviously not a big piece of our future but is a nice guy to have around, plays all out!

I'm curious if he's really covering a lot of ground out there or if he's just doing a Carlos Lee out there, making routine catches look amazing. He's had a ton of highlight reel catches this year.

So far in his career the numbers support the highlights, he's a pretty good outfielder. Not Andruw Jones, but certainly above average. It is a small sample though.

    Good for the team.

Cosart looked great with the fastball last night. Spotted it pretty well. The same can not be said for the curveball.

Damn. Working late prevented me from going to the game, but it seems like I missed a dandy.

Great to hear that Cosart looked good during the game. Sure, the strikeouts may not be there, but it is great to see him bounce back after an early high pitch count. Back to back 7 inning starts? He had one start of 7 innings or more so far this year in the minors. I am excited to see him respond on normal rest in the next start, and it looks like he was ready for the call... much like some other prospects I know.

How full was the stadium in the bottom of the ninth compared to early in the game?

It was very empty. Pretty embarrassing. Felt like the Heat. Granted, it's the worst team in baseball.

He's been pounding fastballs in there at the knees pretty consistently.

Yep. After cosart was taken out, quite a few people left. Then when the As went up by 2 it cleared. Then when we tied the game even more people left ha.

Luckily all the empty seats allowed my cheap ass to move closer :).

Carlos Lee? I'd hardly say he made anything look amazing.

Barnes looks good on D. In RF his range seems amazing. In Center it looks average. He hustles after everything, and is constantly going all out. The catch behind JD was one of the most amazing plays I've ever seen.

I just saw that the attendance was pretty high due to the CSN stuff, and I figured they may have stayed. It looked rather baron during the highlights... sad to hear it stayed that way. Tuesday baseball, though, has to be one of the most unpopular nights.

So glad to hear his is staying low. Makes a lot of sense that he has been able to keep the ball on the ground and produce the outs for which he has been looking. Very excited to see how he progresses in his next start.
