Oh ok... if you say so. I'm just putting myself in the people who got caught in the middle of this' shoes. I know I'd be pissed if I was trying to get home and people were preventing me from doing that.
I'm not comparing these people to Ghandi and MLK but civil disobedience has a rich history. They might be misguided in stopping traffic but their goal was probably attention and they got it.
No one hit her... as she was hanging half way out of her window taunting everyone. And the daughter's lucky she didn't run anyone over. It looked like one of the demonstrators actually beat her to a spot in front of the truck & established position, yet she just plowed through anyway.
LOL.... he tried to take a Martin/Fisher charge on a moving vehicle..... I hope they find that guy and give him a medal for stupidity... ....... ....... .......

And of course also to irritate and annoy people more than to get them to see their point of view, especially those on the roadway. If people started protesting some causes I really think need addressing but blocked my way somewhere in the process, especially if I had a tight schedule, an emergency, or had to use the bathroom I'd be tempted to run them all over (not really but I might at least think about getting violent, shouting and cussing, which is rare for me).
