Man, really not keen on Miller. I would not be surprised at all if he signed for us and barely played all season. At this point, I think he will shoot a 1-2% better than Casspi from 3, but he will be a lot worse defensively, less capable of spot minutes at the 4, less healthy, and older as well.

Camby I would actually like to have even if he doesn't play much. He can be a good influence on the team and teach some lessons to young guys.

Mathloom is always wrong, so I am confident we will sign Miller and he will help a lot!

Yeah I hope we get him too. Last season, especially in the playoffs, Miller was a shooting wizard. His only problem is injuries. But for the price it's a no brainer. How do you not go after with someone like him. I think Battier showed up in the finals but Miller is better at shooting the 3 overall and in the playoffs overall. Actually much better and Miller can get away with his average D here better than any other place. Plus the way Morey is building around Howard we are the most likely team to meet Miami in the finals and wouldn't he like to meet them again and say too bad.

We are being used as leverage once again.

I agree, when healthy Miller is a great shooter/ bench player. He knew his role in Miami and didn't try and do too much. Given the roster that we have, a minor injury wouldn't be a huge deal for us to give him a good amount of rest. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I'm fine with that, let a guy we don't need use us as leverage, more power to him.

I know you're joking, but I wish we were done with the honeymoon before having to hear that again.

You said the same thing before the Rockets signed Howard. Hey, if you keep swinging in the same exact spot a fastball is bound to hit it at some point right?

Morey never lands big free agents except for Dwight Howard. :(

Don't know a ton of BIG free agents that Morey has whiffed on that he had a legitimate shot at. Everyone knew Bosh was going to Dallas or Miami. D-Will? No doubt he was staying in Brooklyn. Maybe I'm missing something, but not 100 percent sure where this mentality is coming from.

Care to name what big name free agents he should have been able to get if he was a good GM and why they would've come here in the last 5 years?

Lebron :(. Pat Riley is more impressive than Morey. He is a championship level exec. :(

Morey no can attract free agent until he got help from more impressive people like McHale and Parsons.
