I disagree, Smith was the only one in the Rockets organization that called out Royce on twitter...............

He told him he needed to stop being a b****.

Just keep developing him as a back-up C because Asik won't be around forever.

im not worry about smith. he may not be a starter material, but he has proven his willingness to improve in the past 2 years. even if he can't find a place in the rox, im sure other nba teams will definitely pick him up. on the other hand, dmo *coughing.

He fits in where he gets in...and vice versa.

Whether he is traded or not, I will still wish him the best in his career. Just as I would with any player that wears a Rockets uniform.

Just like the saying, The cream always rises to the top... If GS has the passion to succeed in this league, he will fight to get PT by working his arse off so he can keep improving.

I don't know what the depth chart is at the PF spot. I seem to remember Smith starting some games at PF at the end of last season, so I don't think anything is set. I assume training camp will decide who starts and who plays backup.

Every year seems like it's gonna be a summer cage match battle royale for that PF spot, and no one ends up taking that huge leap. Not sure if this year's gonna be any different, but I'd like to see a bulkier DMo come out of nowhere and take that spot.

Didn't Greg Smith have a real lousy summer league?? Seems like Terrence Jones might have blown by him there?

Greg Smith's summer league last year was worse. In fact, he got sent home from Vegas for team rules violation (missing a team bus to practice or something like it). Terrence Jones was great in summer league 2012, too.

Doubt that we can read any thing into the PF situation based on summer league.

Let's see what Dream can teach him before we talk about writing him off.

    Hakeem and G Smith

I can't wait to see his post game develop under Hakeem. He is already a near elite finisher.

Hakeem is not working with Greg Smith. Hakeem works Dwight and Omer.

The Rockets will hire Charles Jones to work with Greg Smith.

Whomever was the last starter at PF that is still with the team is #1 on the depth chart on the opening day of camp. After that, it's whomever McHale trusts to not screw this up.

Al three will get a chance.

Cream always rises to the top, but shizzle floats sometimes too. Not ready to call Greg "cream" or pile of steam(ing $#! T) yet, on the court anyway...jury's still out. Love how he is so accessible to fans (on twitter anyway)& definitely seems to have the team first mentality. Rooting for him to go diesel here or wherever he lands, save DAL, LA or SA.

If JLin had Greg's level of self-confidence, he would be a beast.

    Kinda like saying:

-if dwight learns to shoot free throws...
-if we hadn't traded for Barkley...
    -if Stockton missed that shot...
    -if royce gets a vasectomy...

Some what ifs are better left alone.

Needs to become tougher and get a good midrange J. Hopefully he can become a Landry off the bench for us
