    I hope they don't suspend Braun as this would ruin my fantasy baseball team. Actually, I don't care if they suspend him as the appeals will take until next season.

    Not gonna lie, this was my 1st thought when I read about the suspension a few minutes ago. A comment from the link in LongHornFan's post above.

    I'll wait to see how everyone else involved gets treated before I jump to conclusions on Bud Selig going soft on Braun.

    Can someone explain to me again why the MLB was willing to negotiate with that piece of scum?? Oh right, I forgot, Bud Selig is an immoral piece of scum himself, so the two were able to see eye to eye on this. Gotcha.

    Yankees and Cashman are hoping A-Rod gets suspended too. I hope the MLB knows this and forces the Yankees to start him at third base instead.

    The rest of them, they'd like to do(announce) it as one package if they can but that's subject to anyone else striking a deal. We'll have to see if A-Rod is included in that group because his punishment could be far more significant. - T.J. Quinn

    Now MLB wants to strike deals with these guys if they come out. What a joke. :rolleyes:

    Who will be next?

    One guy who has clear motivation to get his behind him as quickly as possible the way Braun did is Nelson Cruz, if the evidence indicates he'll be suspended. He's a free agent in the fall. If this lingers into the off-season, it will devastate his marketability. It would be much better for him to work out some agreement if he's facing a suspension, get it behind him, get back in to games in September and have his slate clean once he gets into free agency.     - Buster Olney
