I love Adelman, but his biggest flaw just like JVG is that they get too comfortable/loyal to certain players.

I don't know, I just don't see it, I watched all his games as a rocket with Adelman and I really didn't get the impression that he wasn't clutch, he missed a few, made a few, it's just basketball some shots go in, others don't.
On the other hand you have Harden, who is considered clutch, yet I feel like I've definitely seen him in a lot more clutch situations and I'm pretty sure he wasted more opportunities than he's converted...

I'm not even comparing Harden and Martin please don't get the wrong idea, I'm just saying that "being clutch" is so relative and hard to pinpoint that it should only be brought into discussion when a player is obviously clutch, like Jordan was, or if a player is obviously not clutch, like idk maybe that Orlando guy, Nick Anderson.

 

Well that "system" doesn't work that well based on history.

If by system you mean disapearing in the 4th quarter and not playing defense, then you have a point.

Pretty much. I don't see OKC winning a title anytime soon anyways. Get the paper and a system you're familiar with.

 

I just don't understand how this guy has made so much money over the course of his career. Usually players this one dimensional don't make half of what he has.

What makes it worse is that after you pay him the money, you expect him to take on a significant role on the team. At this point he's shown that he can't even be relied on as a 6th man. And for that, he earns the crown as the least impactful great scorer in NBA history.
