The narrow scope you are trying to argue with is laughable. I don't even know where to begin. I still think you're a troll and won't let you trick me into replying to something really stupid. Have a great day.

Narrow? Harden shot 39% for the last 2 months and the playoffs, that's over a quarter of the season. Lin shot .482 (40% from 3) in March and .440 in April....he was asked to improve his shot and he did by year's end.

Someone trying to backpedal here? Your obvious intention with this thread was to take a swipe at a player you dislike for *ahem* reasons. Hard to hide that when you are constantly calling him a "ballhog", "Carmelo", etc. in your past posts. i.e.:
But of coooourse you're only "concerned" about how him and Howard will mesh. Suuuuure buddy *nudge, wink*!

You look at his twitter image, and then you look at his posts.

And then you realize that this is a living proof that a seemingly functional full grown man could act just like a 14 year old.

Maybe OP simply has a different personality on the internet because he is anonymous, and then you realize he also plastered his face for everyone to see.

What's your point. I DO think Harden has a lot of Carmelo in him and look at how that's working in NY. And yes there are times, particularly at the end of games where Harden is a ball hog. Whether that's a bad thing or good depends on the result. The end of the season and playoffs showed that it wasn't a good thing.
Believe me, when he rocked the first 2 games, I was okay with it. I was actually pretty amazed. He followed those with 8-24, 5-15 and 4-18 and made me a little nervous. Team basketball and ball movement wins championships...wink, wink...

So you (also anonymous) "fans" continue to pile on, like there's anything that hasn't already been said....and I'm acting like a 14 year old? Nicely done oh wise sage.
I think there has been roughly 10 posts out of 200+ that discussed basketball with me (thank you for your posts guys). A good percentage has been bullying and name calling.

He doesn't give anybody credit for anything. He just hands them $100 bills and tells them to kindly GTFO.

My point was your intention here was to trash Harden. Everyone's already pointed that out.

What's funny is that anti-Lin/Lof ppl swipe at his performance and his stats (and they can't character attack Lin cuz he's such a stand-up dude)..... while anti-Harden ppl (majority of them being Lin fans) can only try to make character attacks (because they can't attack his stats ). lol?

Yall do know that Harden had Lin's back when he asked Morey not to trade him, right? And he's tried to encourage Lin to attack and take shots (aka"up his swag") more. Why so much hate for him, it's not like he's forcing Lin or even asking Lin to hand off the ball every time. Lin has opportunities to take it when he wants it- TD, Parsons, Delfino, Beverley, Garcia, hell even AB attacked at will, without fear. Maybe if you'd stop blaming everyone else for Lin's weaknesses, you'd be more forgiving, and not feel the need to bash. But, if your intent is to turn everyone against you and Lin, you're doing a great job!

OP, Lin would cry if he saw what you were doing, trashing and insulting one of his teammates. Is that how you represent a high character guy like Lin? But nope, seems like many of his fans would rather hate.

A true martyr for the unnecessarily-and-incoherently-trash-Harden cause, you are. It's shocking you don't get more support on a forum for Rockets fans.

    Why "fan".

If anything, "fan" should be used to describe yourself.

This is the internet, you plaster your face all over it, and then say something offensively stupid.

What did you expect would happen?

Actually that remark was anti-Razsan, the point being that you started a thread meant to bash Harden because your goal is to prop up Lin. If you're going to constantly play the victim in this thread, you shouldn't pass up opportunities like the one above.

-You were angry at people calling you out and not taking you seriously, because they saw you had an agenda.

-You stop with the act and let your "True intentions" out.

-Then you cry afterwards about why everybody keeps taking jabs at you.

The guy that made the 14 yr old comment is right about you behaving like a juvenile child, but I'd go and venture to say 11 yr old.

The thing is you don't know a lot about basketball and what's going on. Harden was known as a very unselfish player in college, so much so they had to make him take more shots.

The reason he ISO's here is that he's trying to play to the expectations upon him. And frankly, his ISO's have been effective. It's not his shooting percentage that matters, it's his TS% - which is 60%. That's very high. If Lin had a TS% of 60%, he'd get a lot more ISO's as well.

The problem is you don't get what the Rockets are trying to build here. And you have already judged Harden as this selfish superstar when he is NOT. The coaching staff is encouraging him to do these things - he's learning and he has the talent - so it makes sense to let him learn to get better - by failing in ISO situations.

Also, the amount of his ISO's are not that much. People act like he does it every time down the court.
