That's horribly skewing it, Mike Brown had nothing to do with him (not the first superman to want van gundy sacked either, lol)
It's not thin veiled. I felt like Harden's ISO ball cost the Rockets last year. He shot .390 from the field in March and April AND the playoffs. Not to mention his awful defense. You'd be asking for Lin's head if he did that... The problem is that the first reaction to ANYTHING negative about James is ....LOF!!!!!!
Changing gears? A sign you've lost your initial argument. The thread topic is Harden giving credit, not Harden playing ISO ball. So, does Harden give credit to his other teammates (err, I mean Jeremy Lin)???
"I like Lin as a player, but I feel like he is the next Hitler. The problem is that the first reaction to ANYTHING negative about Lin is.....LOH!!!!!" See the similarities? Baseless accusations followed by an excuse for the accusation.
What? I said you were a grown man. Based on your posts in this thread, that surprised me. I was wondering if anyone else was surprised too. That wasn't what the thread was about. Also, I think every member of CF has noted that Harden is a poor defender. So the notion that no criticism of Harden is allowed is ridiculous.
So now you're openly criticizing him. Not that I am against that, anything and everyone is open to criticism. But the fact of the matter is that many of our offensive sets were practically iso ball. Read and react plays with the ball handler initiating most, if not all, the offense. Sure, there were some set plays that mostly involved flares and screen and rolls or curls, but for the most part the ball handler was one that was going to make the decision. Harden is the most talented player in the P&R, hence he was going to get the ball in those situations. I agree he didn't make the most of it going down the stretch, but he made it work for the majority of the season. Lin just isn't as deadly as Harden in that regard, and I'm not taking anything away from him. Love him as a player, but he just isn't as talented as Harden is in that scenario. I have no doubt our playbook and play style will change with the coming of Dwight and the opportunity for the team to actually grow and develop chemistry and a rapport with one another. But really though, Harden does seem to enjoy playing with his teammates here. I was able to meet him once at a restaurant here, and to me, it seemed pretty obvious that he's enjoying the city and the team
Are you not a Lin Only Fan? Are half of the stupid ass threads started by Lin Only Fans? Superstars like Harden get a pass on stuff because their positives outweigh their negatives. Harden can practice his ISO because he needs to get good at it if we are going to get anywhere as a team. Lin doesn't get away with stuff because he's an average starting PG. He's not the hot chick. Let me give you a video analogy. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/dc4TXCZGgXY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Look, I admit I could have worded the first post differently. I really do feel like Harden is talented. I really do also feel like he is the "king" of the Rockets and tends to try to take over games in crunch time. Late in the season he wasn't as effective and I can see Howard being ticked off when they lose tight games. There is this impression that simply adding stars wins games because it worked with the Celtics and Heat. They were willing to share the spotlight. Howard is not the mature player that KG and Ray were when the joined the Celtics. And LeBron made sure that Wade got involved in games. It's incumbent on Harden to do the same with Howard.
Only after you got exposed by your post history, social media and a forum moderator whom you called a "hater". Harden is a much better player with the ball in his hands and therefore it nullifies Lin. Very few would agree with your opinion that we're better off letting Lin handle the ball. That's why I think Lin would be best served coming off the bench where he'd have more of a chance to play his game. That said, I'd prefer to trade both Asik and him. At their salaries they just aren't good fits to help our team win. The Howard LA situation is a wash. They completely minimized his abilities and nobody wants to play with Kobe. Dwight is at fault for the Orlando stuff but he has since developed a good relationship with SVG which proves to me he's grown up. He knows what's expected of him and I full expect him to excel here. Not worried about him at all.. Wouldn't even be surprised if he's in the MVP discussion
Seriously this hero ball iso is nice for hollywood movies. But i rather have the ball flowing, just look at our playoff wins against OKC. Garcia was the man with the daggers. Harden is such an attack killer that he tends to go after really difficult shots. This has backfired on us a number of times during clutch.
I admitted it at post #7...saying that I would save anyone the trouble of looking it up, well before the social media and moderator thing. And you have a right to your opinion regarding ball handling duties and only time will tell regarding Howard.
Obviously guys with an agenda here. I find it astounding that you guys actually look for these type of things, says a lot. Ah well, LOF and LOH have at it.
It's not that I don't like Harden having the ball. It's the clear out and let me make something happen situations that don't work against better teams. I'd rather see the Rockets develop a Spurs like mentality where ball movement is key.
I think the op is 17, but is taking trolling to a new level. Perhaps he made a fake twitter to throw us of his trail.....
exposed. "Why doesn't Harden give anybody credit" "DAMN ISO BALL HARDEN MAKE US LOSE WHY NO GIVE LIN 100 SHOTS A GAME!!!" Too easy.
You do realize he played 3d fiddle to Durant and Westbrook, right? He had no problem with that, what makes you think he could possibly have a problem with Howard? Last season Harden was the best player on the team, and it wasn't even close. He did so much early in the season, that he ran out of gas at the end. He didn't play hero ball to look good, he tried his hardest to win the game. Maybe people on here are a little thin skinned now - but that's only because of the "new fans" on here and all the arguments that all this has created. The so called LOFs try to use everything to make Harden look bad and create or take over tons of threats - and this threat look just like that. And rockets fans don't like that - they don't like the new culture on here, and they don't like fans on here bad mouthing our best player and the star, we all prayed for for the last couple of seasons. So, if you have something real to add to a discussion, voice it in a respectful manner and not with the agenda of making a player look bad...
As per the OP's question: Is he giving anyone credit? Well, according to that new report from LA, he's giving anyone cash!
I'm surprised that you're surprised that people are making fun of you for making a thread that you could have easily googled that answer for just to bring up a point that makes no sense at all and clearly shows your bias...
