Lin took 10.9 FGA per game, 3.1 of which were 3s. Not even 1/3 of his overall attempts, not really numbers that would suggest someone who stood in the corner waiting for Harden and Parsons scraps.

Delfino on the other hand shot 9.3 FGA per game, 6.3 of which were 3s. Over 2/3 of his shots. That's a guy who camped the three point line.

This is not an opinion, it's fact.

In rebuilding mode, teams DO NOT sign ANY big multi year contracts. They collect draft picks, develop young players, and sign veterans to 1- year contracts.

The goal is to have as much cap room and expiring contracts at the end of the season as possible. And to lose as many games as possible to get a higher draft pick. Example: Lakers signing Chris Kaman, Jordan Farmar, and Nick Young to 1-year deals.

If the Rockets wanted to rebuild, they would never sign Lin or Asik to 3-year contracts that they can't trade later.

J-Lin = young player who can be devolped.

J-Lin also came off the linsanity performance. He was a scoring phenom and he looked promising. He showed he could still score in bunches in Houston but he lacked to do it night in and night out consonantly. You don't lose as many games as disposable that's just upright wrong.

The Rockets had alot of cap room. They just signed four year deal Dwight Howard a superstar center and still best center in the league with an off season.

They still have some cap room left which will be used to sign parsons for more or do a trade later on

Asik = an asset. They could easily trade Omer Asik and I think get good quality players. Match Asik with some other players and some picks and possibly get a high quality player.

You are completely clueless and apparently think you were in the huddle for every play the Rockets called last year. It's just sad. Go ahead an make all the excuses you need for Lin. I'd be better off talking to a tree stump.

That doesn't mean he wasn't told to camp out at the corner for certain sets. Only means Lin wasn't getting touch when he was at that spot.

Even hardcore LOH agreed Lin was told to camp out the corner or deep wing, wait for the ball to kick out and take the 3 as the last option when Harden or Parsons failed to generate scoring opportunities. LOH pointed to Lin's ball handling, TO or defense, but never his effort. Now LOH like you breaking new ground by saying Lin like to rest at the corner and watch.

Peace, I'm out. Should have never got suck in in the first place.

^ The "logic" used by a LOF.

Did you even look? I know you didn't. I wonder how King1 was hating on Lin back in 2004 when he joined. I'm sure you can show us, right?

    His FGA are fact.

How much time he spent on the corner, is also a fact, but we don't have clear figures on that, so it's down to what we observed, but I think people on both sides of the Lin spectrum agree that he spent a lot of time camping there.

Whether that was due to McHale's decision or because of his passivity is very much a matter of opinion. Considering how normally aggressive Lin is with the ball in his hands, as well as the, at best, indifferent attitude of both McHale and Sampson towards Lin throughout the season, I'd bet on the former.

If this forum had the basic tools available to all posters as other forums, then it'd be very easy to quantify.

My own observation is that the majority of posts I've seen on the GARM over the past year or so from King1 have been related to Lin and almost always been negative posts.

    He clearly hates Lin.
