No to these 3. Prime Wade was better...but his prime is gone, and Westbrook is just entering his. LMA is a stud, but go look at Westbrook and Aldridge's careers. Westbrook is younger and has accomplished more. And Deron Williams? And that's just laughable that you just compared Westbrook to Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings. That alone makes your opinion a joke. If you think Westbrook is "basically Monta Ellis or Brandon Jennings", you don't watch enough of the games, and it's obvious...
Allow Monta Ellis or Brandon Jennings to chuck the ball up 19 times a game like Westbrick does and they'd give you the same performance offensively. Westbrick is just a volume shooter that gets to shoot his way into an impressive point total. He's just another chucker.
The Clutchfans ignore list. A special place reserved not for those with a difference of opinion, but those too stupid to make a rational argument or hold any sort of intelligent discussion. It takes work getting there, you're only the 3rd, so props on your low IQ/shizophrenia or whatever.
Russell Westbrook - 18.7 FGA per game, 43%, 23.2 PPG, 7.4 APG, 5.2 RPG, 23.98 PER Brandon Jennings - 15.6 FGA per game, 39%, 17.5 PPG, 6.5 APG, 3.1 RPG, 16.20 PER Monta Ellis - 17.5 FGA per game, 41%, 19.2 PPG, 6.0 APG, 3.9 RPG, 16.30 PER Westbrook scores more, shoots a better percentage, gets more assists, gets more rebounds, and does it more efficiently. You're silly.
Look at career totals, Ellis plays SG so his assists aren't really there, but he scores 19.4 on 16.4 shots, Westbrick scores 20.9 on 17.2.....that's pretty much the same. Westbrick is a 30.2% 3 point shooter, Ellis is a 31.8% 3 point shooter....again about the same Westbrook's TS% is .520, Ellis' is .526 face it, they are both chuckers and neither is remarkably better than the other on the offensive side of the ball.
are u high... the OKC playoffs proved how much westbrock brought to at the time defending west conf champions.. face it westbrick is a top 10 player while jennings and ellis arnt even top 75
In exception to Harden, everyone is too high. Obviously Asik would be rated higher, but his extremely low usage rate would yield a low WA. Howard might be top 10, but 3 is reaching. Parsons will be nowhere near 28. Maybe 50. Lin maybe 60-70. Btw I hope that list doesn't actually represent a ranking of the best NBA players. Because there's no way in hell Blake Griffin is the 11th best player in the NBA in front of Duncan, LMA, and Gasol. And there's no way Kemba Waler is the 22nd best player in the NBA
Plain and simple...if you don't understand the difference between Westbrook and Jennings or Ellis, then you simply do not understand the game. There's not much more to say. There is nobody who would agree with them being "about the same".
Agreed. As much as I don't like Westbrook he's just on another level compared to Ellis and Jennings. Definitely a top 10 player IMO
The difference is hype and "just winz". You can't be a part of the ignorant masses unless you overrate players based on team success....
Westbrook definitely is. 23 ppg, 7.4 apg, 5.2 rpg, 1.8 spg, 23.98 PER. Top 10 player without question. Look what him being out did to OKC. It killed them.
Did you know that if we have better players and better coaching and we play better than the other teams we have a greater chance of winning?
His value to the team doesn't show his value in the league. Take any good role player off of any team without good depth at that position and they'll suffer, take any team's #2 scoring option away and they suffer. It doesn't prove that they are top 10 in the league. Take Monta Ellis off the Bucks last year, do they make the playoffs? No.
What type of basketball have you been watching if you think Wade and Westbrook are weak numbers 2's. Jesus the comments on this board, funny thing is if Howard wasn't playing for Houston you most likely would call him a weak number 2.
Harden isn't a number 2 on this team. Oh and debate Westbrook/Harden outside of a Houston message board/Okc Message board and the topic is what it is debatable.
