always take ESPN and their work with a grain of salt... i've found yahoo's reporters and analysis to be on a completely different level.
I'm sorry but we will always be second as long as Lebron is in the league, and this is with a digressing Wade. Durant and Westbrook could be arguable but we can't say we are better until we see the product on the floor.
Westbrick is a volume shooter and I'm not a fan of that type of player. Sure he's athletic and if he shoots enough times his point total will be good, but he's not someone I'd want on the Rockets.
LeBron + anyone and Durant + Westbrook are better. That's the only duo that is better than 12+13 in my opinion.
LMFAO Wade is on the decline, so I'll give you that, but Westbrook being "fairly weak" is laughable. He's 100% a Top 10 Player. Name me 10 players better than Westbrook...
If so-called-experts make declarative statements without caveat, I don't why we should grant them after the fact.
Can people stop disrespecting Wade? When he's healthy he's unstoppable. Unlike Durant and Harden he's elite at both ends too.
LOL let us play a game. Where will the Rockets rank in Hollinger's player rankings next summer? Let me take a stab at it first. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/sort/VORPe #3 Dwight Howard #7 James Harden #28 Chandler Parsons #41 Lin #88 Beverly #90 Asik #127 D-Mo #141 Jones
Howard Harden Lebron Durant CP3 Melo (if you are going to be a volume shooter, at least be the best) Wade LMA Tony Parker Deron Williams These aren't even in any kind of order and I could go on. Westbrick is basically Monte Ellis or Brandon Jennings if they were allowed to jack up 19 shots a game.
I don't like Westbrook at all, and he basically shoots his team out of games if you can get in his head, but when he is on so are the thunder. I think he deff. makes top 10 over DW, LMA , Wade (too sporadic now).
i really dont wanna start one of those is Lin sucks or is the second coming of jesus but 41..... thats a reach for even LOF's
I dunno, I just don't like that kind of player. The way I look at it is that I wouldn't want him on my team, so I have a hard time seeing him as top 10 or whatever. Personally IMO the Thunder messed up when they gave the big contract to Westbrick instead of Harden, they should have traded Westbrick away for a legit PG and kept Harden and they'd be a hell of a lot better team than they are right now. That said, the Rockets benefited from their foolishness so I'm glad it happened like it did.
Okay I know dwight has freethrow problems but this dude was a MONSTER in Orlando. Not being a homer but in an off year he put up pretty good numbers. Ill take them over Durant/westbrook.
Do you have comprehension issues? Liking doesn't equate to how good someone is. I dislike Westbrook because he is a punk, its a pretty rudimentary concept, and if you looked at the context of my post its pretty clear that I was in support of Westbrook. All that being said, not surprising coming from someone2012yeaIsaid it and has a Lin shrine in his closet.
Of course he found a way to get to the line. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>James Harden in the house <a href="https://twitter.com/drewleague">@drewleague</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/Nike">@nike</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23TheDrew&src=hash">#TheDrew</a> <a href="http://t.co/i2HnHAq7lE">pic.twitter.com/i2HnHAq7lE</a></p>— LADN Sports (@ladnsports) <a href="https://twitter.com/ladnsports/statuses/359099475895152640">July 21, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
