Wow tomorrow is going to be fantastic. Tiger trying for number 15 and his first come from behind. Then we have Westwood trying to break through, Scott going for player of the year and Mahan getting another shot in the final group. Of course looming is Cabrera, Michelson and others who just need to post a good number a see what happens. Can not wait
Tiger made one of the worst mental mistakes I've ever seen him make when he layed up with 3 wood on 17... WTF was the point of that? If he was laying up, he should have just hit an iron down the fairway. If he wanted to go at it, he should've hit driver off the tee. 3 wood, 3 wood was just dumb. No way he should've made bogey on that hole. One HUGE subplot you didn't mention is Tiger and Stevie will be together for 18 holes on Sunday of a major. That should be interesting. CAN'T WAIT!!!
Nobody really going low so far. Now we are getting to the guys who have a chance. Im thinking -1 gets you in a playoff.
This is still wide open. Everybody +3 or better are still in it, even Tiger. Westy, Scott, Mahan, Mickelson and Stenson have all choked before, there's no guarantee the winning score will be even under par.
Well, that sucked about as much as possible. Going back to bed rather than watch FIGJAM Phildo raise the trophy. I guess I now know what it felt like to be a Heat hater the past couple years.
PHIL!!! This feels so good... really, one of the happiest sports moments of my life. What a clutch performance to cement his legacy. Couldn't happen to a better guy.
Puke, Phil is such a fraud. I'm not buying that forced family hug. I'll give him credit though 5 majors and time to win more Will Tiger get to Jack? I'm not sure
will he... probably not, but it doesnt matter, he holds pretty much every other record in tour history besides most pga events won, and majors. If he gets one of the those 2.... 20 years from now, people will consider him the greatest.. although many consider him a scumbag Russell has 11, Jordan 6.. but who is the GOAT. sometimes when you have almost every single PGA stat so heavily slanted in your favor( Tiger Woods), people tend to overlook how many championships you've won.
