Yea it closed for a period of time around then due to the large influx of posters. I don't remember the exact time but it was somewhere between 08-09, hopefully someone else can verify.
The fact remains that Bev is the better playoff player. Lin was injured this year and last year for the playoffs. Maybe Lin is better in the playoffs but how do we know...? And Bev played pretty good in game one. Even Fisher said Bev is a player they were going to have to pay more attention to after that game. OKC noticed his energy on the court. I think some get bashing and criticism confused. I criticize him just like I do every other player. All athletes are subject to criticism. Just ask Kevin Martin and Stacy McShady. And when people criticize Lin... LOF's consider it hatred or racism when it's not. They think he's the only player people criticize. But if they didn't only pay attention to Lin. They will see it's far from the truth. LeBron James even gets criticized, Kobe is hated, and Jordan got plenty of criticism too. Is Lin better than those guys that he can't be criticized...? Especially when it's the Lin only fans who really hyped him up to be a star player. And now that he's not, the same people run to his defense when he's being criticized. Good thing is... Lin has the opportunity to prove himself on the court and put his critics to rest, or give them more to criticize him about.
I don't think Lin has a lot of haters, in fact he's one of the least hateful guys on the squad. He's well mannered, he hasn't raised a fuss and when he wasn't injured he's played well. The problem is he's attracting so much Lin Only Fans who make a fuss out of everything. It's a natural reaction, when people see these guys creating posts talking about how Harden is so awful or that Lin would have been as good as LBJ if only he was used properly, you can't help but start criticizing Lin and you start talking about how bad he really is, because the reality is he's no where near good enough to warrant being the first option on this team. As far as Bev goes, I don't think he's better than Lin but at his energy, ability to his 3s and more importantly his low ass contract make him more attractive than Lin. You don't need to be a cap genius to see we could use more capspace, whether to add a 3rd star or to pay for Parsons and Asik and unfortunately with a plethora of solid yet cheap pgs Lin is clearly on the chopping block.
u know what's the best thing about all this. None what we argue about here , pulling our hair out really matters to the decisions which the Rockets makes. especially this. hahaha lol I got to say your hate is sure stronger than my support for lin. good luck with your life.
Second Cousin has 700 posts of nonstop: I must commend you for protecting your true loves, with the masterfully executed 'Lin obsession' smokescreen. But now... you no longer have to feign your obsession with Lin "parking the corner". The truth has set you free! Free to let loose your passions for D-Mo, the Celtics, great centers, Mchale and Hakeem (whose threads you never post in), and the highly revered inside post up game! Go now. And post like the wind.
I hope you gave your boot a thorough cleaning. It can get dirty you know, after putting it that high up a man's arse
The answer: Ike is a 'Supreme Commander' while Lin is only a 'floor general' BTW, did Ike play semi-pro baseball?
Silly as his post and troll username may be, spewing this type of garbage is damn racist and highly offensive. Shame on you.
I don't know about that... we did not expect for Beverly much last year. He proved us wrong. I hope he will prove you and others that think Lin is better wrong...
