Obama isn't divided on the verdict.... The judge conducted the trial in a professional manner. The prosecution and the defense made their arguments. The juries (sic) were properly instructed that in a -- in a case such as this, reasonable doubt was relevant. And they rendered a verdict. And once the jury's spoken, that's how our system works.
Wrong. The injuries of Zimmerman only show he was in a fight with Martin, not that Martin assaulted him illegally. I'm not denying that Martin was beating Zimmerman. That doesn't prove an assault. I'm saying there has been no trial about whether Martin initiated an assault on Zimmerman.
Juror B37 told Anderson that she thought Zimmerman's actions were in self-defense. "I think the roles changed, I think George got in a little bit too deep, which he shouldn't have been there. But Trayvon decided that he wasn't gonna let him scare him ... and I think Trayvon got mad and attacked him The reason she thought this.....No wounds besides the gunshot wound on TM. Quit being stubborn and come to the reality Travyon played a huge role in his own death. If they had charged GZ with a lesser crime something like reckless endangerment, I would have had no problem with this.
What a juror in the GZ case believes has little to do with whether TM was guilty of a crime or not. TM wasn't on trial and shouldn't be condemned for a crime he was never tried for. In Zimmerman's case he was found not guilty. Trayvon Martin hasn't been tried for an assault. Zimmerman shouldn't have been found guilty before he was tried, and Martin is entitled to that exact consideration.

no they didn't. Before his death they found women's jewelry in his possession and a screw driver. They questioned him about it and were satisfied enough that no charges at all were pressed. None of the jewels had ever been reported stolen from anyone, and the so called burglary tools were a screw driver. Stop calling a screw driver burglary tools. I'm not a burglar and I'm in possession of several screw drivers. The whole stolen jewelry/burglar tools thing is made up by people who have an interest in trying to make Martin look as badly as they possibly can.
Then it's going to take something a little more inconvenient, like how houstonians shut down 288, but on a much bigger scale (across the nation). Start making people late for their yoga & sushi, until EVERYONE recognizes what happened here, & the federal government steps in to fix it. He's actually getting out there & making his voice heard. Sometimes you have to get in peoples' faces.
So... you think Zimmerman committed some form of criminal act that resulted in Martin's death? That he bears some responsibility?
No, I think he and Martin both could have avoided a confrontation had they done things differently. No law against confronting someone. Martin turned the confrontation violent by attacking Zimmerman, that's where the law was broken. Martin committed violent acts that put Zimmerman in fear of losing his life or suffering great bodily injury. The jury concurred. FWIW.. Obama said it was a fair trial and he is respecting the verdict. I suggest you do too. And don't give me the civil rights bs.... As soon as it was discovered that the person usage racist language that night was Trayvon Martin his parents said race had nothing to do with the case. Now that they lost, the crutch comes back out.
Reckless endangerment would have been subject to the self defense claim also. You do understand that manslaughter includes the reckless killing of a human being, right? If I get drunk, decide to drive, and kill you in an accident, it is vehicular manslaughter.
Hell, for all you know, Zimmerman put it there while waiting for the cops. No proof that any of that was relevant to Zimmerman unilaterally deciding to follow Martin around.
A person has the right to say whatever they want, they are not entitled to an audience. One does not have the right to yell in someone's face and force them to listen.
