Doesn't he look a bit like Lil Wayne?

Lol. Mike Miller has become the second most widely recruited free agent after Dwight this offseason.

I would love for the Rockets to get Miller, but I would be surprised if he passed up OKC to do so. Their wing depth is not as crowded. I guess we'll see. I'm glad Houston is giving it a shot though.

Morey wants Miller? Someone help me see the logic in that. Nothing against Miller -- he's been killer from the three in the playoffs the last two years, but I don't see it with the other signings that have happened, especially not with the team still supposedly pursuing Camby.

If we got Camby and Miller we would have 4 PG, 2 SG, 4 Centers, 4 SF and 2 PF. I guess that would mean we would only have to get rid of one player with a fully garunteed deal -- not sure who that would be though.

Or perhaps the Rockets are after Miller OR Camby. That would only be 15 players, which is of course allowed.

Morey recruits Miller because he doesn't want OKC to get him

And because he'd be a good fit. Adding another good shooter to the bench would be very beneficial.

If you end up cutting Reggie Williams or someone like that after training camp, what's the big deal? Unless you have intel that Les Alexander would put up a fuss, which I doubt, don't worry about it.

The bottom line is he's chasing anyone available who he thinks can be an upgrade to the roster. He'll worry about the exact roster construction come October. Way too many things can happen. Some guys might get hurt. Or there might be a 3-for-1 type trade.

If Morey thinks adding Miller and Camby upgrades the rotation, it's worth doing. Worry about the precise roster logistics in a few months.

Shoots over 40% from 3 career. That's why everyone wants him. Glad Morey made an offer. Hopefully we get him.

Yeah, I can see that -- probably that is the line of thought being pursued. And there is nothing wrong with that, it is definitely the way to go. I guess I am just wondering who the 16th man would most likely be (and thus the guy who would be cut before the season starts). I agree that it would probably be Williams, unless he does great in camp/preseason. If not him, perhaps Casspi or Smith, depending on how they do in camp.

And, like I said before, if it is Miller OR Camby, then the question becomes a moot point.

Yeah, I'd say Williams would be the most likely, followed by Casspi or Smith if Williams excels. That said, it seems highly doubtful that Miller comes here, so it probably won't be an issue.

Why r there so many guys to worry about the rosters now?
I really don't understand the thinking logic.
There r long long way to go before season opening
There r too many thing that will be happen
    The world is changing everyday

Here's the logic to me. He is a better player than anyone on our bench at his position. The Rockets would never hesitate to eat minimum contracts.

Right now we don`t really have a good backup 2. Williams is the only guy we have there and he is unproven - I guess Garcia could play here some, but he is clearly a 3.

Miller is a perfect fit if he is healthy. He is a deadeye shooter and a smart player. Perfect fit next to Harden and also next to Lin and Parsons...
