What a difference 9 months make.

We're not discussing getting our 1st, not 2nd, but 3rd superstar.

    Surreal.

$8 million...? That's what Asik and Lin got and they only had a few starts in their career. I totally disagree on getting Chandler Parsons for $8 million.

CP's regular season numbers and playoff numbers are not far behind Paul George's numbers and CP's numbers are better than Nicolas Batum's numbers and CP is a better shooter than both and he's a two-way player. Mix that with the fact that CP is a clean cut white All American pretty boy in a league that is considered the "Thug League". Bidding will start for CP at around $12 million per year.

If Morey can get LMA w/o giving up Parsons, the Rockets might keep the four players together for one glorious season. :)

Paul George was an NBA All-Star. Parsons is not. I do not agree Parsons will get a contract starting at 12M.

I evaluate Parsons closer to 76ers Thaddeus Young who is making around 8.6M this year, moving up year by year.

Y'all are forgetting that Lin and Asik's contracts expire the same time Parsons is up for a new contract

Doesn't matter if George was an All Star. Fact remains Parsons #'s are right behind his and Parsons has a better shooting percentage. LaMarcus Aldridge wasn't an All Star but if you want him from Portland you got to trade for him like he is.

And Parsons still has another year or two to improve before he hits the free agent market and if another star player isn't brought in to take shots away from him, he may average 17-18 points a game (like he did against OKC in the playoffs).

And Batum came off a season where he scored 12-13 ppg when he got his 4 year $44 million contract and Parsons is just finished his 2nd season and is arguably better than him. So you guys keep thinking Parsons is going to get $6-$8 million a year... Lol..

Let's see whether he can maintain or improve his performance next season, if positive then he can expect when his contract expires his worth 10M

LMA is not a superstar but yea its possible to get a 3rd star and CP. 10m might be an overpay for CP depending on how much he improves.

You can't see a player who averages 16 ppg and plays above average D and was by far the best recruiter among Rockets players for Dwight earning 10 mil a year.

Rockets can't afford to let him go.

2 yr window to trade for a star. Pay Chandler whatever he wants

Not that box score stats are a complete look at a player, but the last 22 games...Parsons scored 18 ppg on 13.4 fgas and 2.3 ftas. That is great scoring from a player that does almost everything else well.

I think Rockets try to keep Parsons. If the Rockets start winning, I think Les will enjoy the increase in the worth of the Rockets.

If you can get LMA now, get him now and worry about Parsons later. What if Parsons' skills have plateaued? What if he decides to quit the NBA and goes to Hollywood? What if he gets Beverley-ed and will never be the same again? Or maybe Parsons would play for a discount because of the superstars?

    It's LMA! Go for it!

Thank you Carl.... Anybody know what Bosh avg was this year.... when you already have 2 superstar the 3rd star doesn't have to avg big numbers.... He just has to have the potential to blow up for atleast a 1/3 of the games and avg around 16-18ppg..... And also be able to step up if one of the other 2 go down and I believe CP can and will do that.... He won't get max money but he will start at 10m. No doubt in my mind

Parsons is going to be our 3rd star. He averaged 18 ppg post all star last season. Kid is blooming. I expect him tk be better next year.
